    I could not be more disappointed in this contractor. I hired them to do entire basement remodel which included creating 2 egress windows. 2 weeks after the job was completed (late and profoundly over budget) my basement started to flood. I called them to help diagnose and rectify. They told me it was a preexisting issue with my foundation. Odd bc my basement had never flooded before and the floods we originating directly under the brand new egress windowshardly a coincidence. After hiring an infrared specialist who could pinpoint where the water intrusion was coming from, he concluded it was from the saw cuts in the window *****. I hired a new contractor who pulled everything apart and could see that the saw cuts were too low and were never sealed. Bowersox refused to take responsibility OR take it up with their subcontractor (kind of the point of hiring a contractor in the first place). After multiple floods and no assistance from them, I hired my new contractor who was able to undo and redo (correctly) the egress windows$13k later. Nothing like spending money twice for the same thing. I am utterly appalled at the lack of responsibility and ownership. We all hire contractors to insulate us from these kinds of things- otherwise whats the point, I couldve hired subcontractors on my own. Had I have known Bowersox Building was going to leave me high and dry (or in this case flooded) I wouldve hired any of the other wonderful contractors in our area.
