      I have been with PMI Metro since July 2019. They used to be a good company to work with. In 2021 I started to have problems with them. Not communicating with me. I would call, text, and email and not get a response for weeks sometimes months. I was told that they had issues with their phone system and they got it corrected. The problem still persists. I FINALLY had enough of their lack of communication and response. I replaced them in October 2023 and sent them an email, a certified letter, and a text to end our agreement. Oct the 31st I got a text from them requesting permission to fix the garage. I see that my tenants reached out to them on October 26 concerning the garage. November 29th (today) I am having trouble with them returning my tenant's security deposit of $2700 my house keys and my funds. They took a fee for November even though they weren't *********** it. I am beyond frustrated with them. The owners are **** and *************************. If they haven't been communicating with me I wonder what kind of relationship they have had with my tenant. This company has been awful to deal with!

      Applied for a unit and less than a full day I received an email telling me that I got approved and can move in right away. I called them multiple times and emailed, even chatted with someone on their website who asked for my information and said that "someone" in the office would reach out to me but never heard from them on any platform. I was only trying to get in contact to get access to my tenant portal so I could pay for my security deposit and first months rent but obviously that won't be the case anymore. I also went to their physical location to discover that they have moved from that location with no updated address for me to find out where their office is. Red flags all around and I don't recommend doing any kind of business with these scammers. If what I've experienced is anything like what I would have gotten if I had actually become a tenant of those, I know that I would have suffered. Save yourself, your money and your time and stay away from them.

      THE WORST! My water heater was leaking for ONE FULL YEAR on their watch; a vendor reached out to ME for non-payment; and my tenants found me in order to let me know that either PMI goes, or they go.I assumed they handled replacing the water heater last Feb. because we'd been in communication and I'd worked the whole thing out with my home warranty provider. All they needed was to make it happen. And I "assumed" they would because they told me they would.After a full year the water heater (NEVER REPLACED & LEAKING THE WHOLE TIME) stopped working altogether. It took several more weeks for **** and ****** to look into addressing the issue, and not until the tenants withheld rent.The tenants requested a modest reduction in their rent during the weeks they had to drive to family members to take showers and do laundry. No response to their request and instead they were issued a $200 late fee.When I realized nothing had been taken care of for the past year I asked **** and ****** why. They claimed they had no record of the water heater ever being an issue in the past - this despite me forwarding our extensive email thread about the water heater from the previous year, and despite their portal showing both tenant work orders - the original from last year, and the new one from this year.This is exactly why homeowners pay property managers, to avoid potential damage to their investment from something like a year-long leak. I never once got an apology or acknowledgment of their negligence, and the entire time they insisted they had only ever been responsive. Oh and to top it off, when transferring to a new property manager they were unable to locate the keys to my house.
