Pattern of Complaints

On October 25, 2023, Better Business Bureau investigated Lomac Stone Company LLC's business practices. This investigation was prompted by several Scam Tracker and consumer complaint reports alleging that Lomac Stone Company LLC is operating as a natural and engineered stone fabricator and installer. Consumers claim owner John P. Macias was contracted to complete a fabricate and install project. Mr. Macias required a 75% down payment paid by cash or Zelle. Dates are scheduled for the project to begin and Mr. Macias fails to show up. Attempts to contact and reschedule are ignored.


 


Lomac Stone Company LLC prior to April 27, 2024, show as licensed with the Oregon Construction Contractors Board. On November 13, 2023, the CCB issued a penalty against Lomac Stone Company LLC suspending their license. Licensing verification can be found at https://www.ccb.state.or.us/search/.


 


Lomac Stone Company LLC was licensed with the State of Washington Labor & Industries under LOMACSC809QC. This license was suspended due to construction infractions and electrical citations.


 


On October 31, 2023, BBB attempted to contact Lomac Stone Company LLC by calling 503-462-9406 and an intercept message stated “the person you’ve dialed is unable to take calls at this time” with no prompt to leave a message.


 


On October 31, 2023, BBB also attempted to contact Lomac Stone Company LLC to give them the opportunity to respond to consumers allegations by both email and US mail. As of May 28, 2024, Lomac Stone Company LLC/John Macia has yet to respond.
