      I have been a Perfect Look customer since the 1980s. On Aug. 26, 2024, my wife and I got haircuts at the Perfect Look salon located at ************************************************************************************. We loved the haircuts, but when we tried to use our Perfect Look gift cards, they were not honored. The register produced the same error message for each card: "This card does not exist." We were forced to pay full price.The next day, I talked to the salon manager, who promised to contact the district manager and call me back. I'm still waiting for that call. I also contacted the *************************** website, on September 2nd and September 12th, but did not receive a ******** wife and I bought these cards in early 2020, when we were offered a free $10 card in exchange for buying a $50 card at face value. The remaining value of these cards is $45.50, in total. I have attached front and back images of both cards.Oregon state law (ORS 646A.276, ORS 646A.278) states that these cards cannot expire. Therefore, I'm requesting a refund of $45.50.Thank you.

      The 1st time I went to Perfect Look Hair Salon in *******, **, I asked her for a Wolf Cut. It turned out pretty good - except that the left side was 1" LONGER than the right side!! The next time I went in (to give her another chance bc the rest wasn't bad at all), I told her about the length difference and she said she would be careful that time. Again, the left side ended up being longer than the other!! Since I wanted it fixed, I went in a 3rd time & told her about the 1" length difference AGAIN. She said it was bc my hair grows unevenly. In all of my 67 years I have never been told this or seen it in my hair!When I went to pay, I wanted to enter my email address so I could get a receipt for my credit card payment and she clicked enter before I could do so. When I looked at my credit card statement later, she had charged me $45.~!!!! Not the $31.~ as LISTED on the price board set out there!!!So she not only screwed up my haircut AGAIN but she also RIPPED ME OFF financially!!! After being out of town I called the scheduling line & spoke with *** the following week to complain that 2 days after my haircut, there was:* a 1" difference in length between the left side and the right side in the length, the left being longer, * AND the top layer on the left is choppy and super short * whereas the right side comes down to past my right ear so now I can't put my hair up in a clip!! I told her that I had chemo for 5 years & had to cut my hair short then. It took me several years to get long hair again & now (K. W.) has cut the right side shoulder length!! I told *** that I wanted my money back bc now I have to find someone else to FIX this ******** will have to have the money to pay for the repair!The woman who answered, ***, said that she would forward the complaint to the district manager & the district manager, would call me back in 1 to 2 business days.It's been 3 ******** have not received any phone calls returning my call at all. I am terribly upset!

      8/13 website show Full foils $105.hairdresser was late i asked another hairprson 4 price list. He showed me his list full foil $100. ( I wanted less than partial) I sat down. Said i want 6 foils. She said she cant do that cause this is Not Supercuts.I went to get up, said its not working for me. Im trying to grow my partial weave from last year out and just want a sunkiss. She said-dont you lke me?(crockidile tears) I said its not that i dont "like her" I want 6 foils. This was She asked what my buget is as if i was at a new car lot I said im not concerned about budget i want. She quoted $140. She had me pick out 2 colors. ( Ive been doing partial/6 foils/10 fols for 40 years) She had me feeling so sorry 4 her i stayed. Halfway through it i aked her why so much she said $70 for color $70 for partial weave.(Color is 4 color.A weave is highlights.She is wrong) I mentioned I use Char to cut & she said **** did a bad job plus they ***** bring6 fols will pa their stuff home each nite for char stealing their money and mgt. wont fire Char for stealing ***************** She pointed out Chars laundry pil y shampoo stations. I felt conned by *****. They shouldnt be alowed to make up their own prices for the same work, do a bait n switch on pricing & not give customers what they want. The employees here were talkng over me and another senior "saying **** struck again" and telling people that the owners know whats going on in this dirty store but they cant get workers to stay so they keep them. i paid at $55 at other place where the person retired .this was the worst experience it left me in tears knowing I ws lied to. I ws manipulated.She charged $135 I want the overcharged $65 plus $23 tip back. Its the principle. Another hairdresser had 6 foils in her bangs.Will the ** never called back. Website were appt is booked=Foils Full 120m$105.00

      Thank you for the opportunity to address this concern. Unfortunately, we have attempted to address this complaint with no success. This individual has sent or posted numerous complaints and reviews with various different names and accounts. Our District Manager, as well as myself, the *** have attempted to reach out with no luck. An email correspondence was eventually established in which a refund was offered for the service. Gratuity is not refunded, as it is an optional gesture that indicates satisfaction with the service. In the email correspondence, the individual became verbally condescending, referring to me as "*************************," at which time correspondence stopped. Upon further investigation, and due to so many varying names, contact info, etc, there is no record of this individual in our system. There is suspicion that the individual may be a former employee attempting to create trouble. The complaint regarding cleanliness of the salon has been addressed with the salon. We are always willing to attempt to remedy any lack of satisfaction but need the cooperation of the complaining individual as well.

      BBB can close this case as i got Some money. They excuded the tip (any good business person would of given it All & apologized profusely.

      I am accepting this response. Please be aware whover is handling this BBB at Perfect Salon issue is being ridiculous which shows ow they run their business. They could of just piced up the phone. I received an email from the business commiting to refund a partial aount Of $65 to exclude the tip which I accepted, begrudgingly  I am a real person and submitted the complaint under my legal name in which they took my credit card payment upon leaving the establishment. On that day, I had called to ask for a Manager and the receptionist passed me to a ****** allegedly the ** and I left a message including my phone number. I submitted this BBB complaint because this person never called me back.   Thank you for your asssitance.
