      January 2023-For anyone that has an unfulfilled contract with this company - be aware that an attorney representing the company has sent letters stating that Home Comfort Hearth is going out of business and, unless you have been notified otherwise, your products were NOT ordered and your deposit will not be returned. You have a few options available to try to recover your money but you'll want to act quickly as there are dozens of others in your situation, like **** contracted with the company in November 2022 for installation of two fireplaces and paid a 50% deposit. The company was slow to respond to all follow-up questions and ultimately stopped responding in early December. As stated above, the latest communication (from the company's attorney) states that my products weren't ordered and the company will not be refunding my deposit. I've learned that there are dozens of others in my situation.
