Pattern of Complaints
On May 17, 2016, BBB recognized a pattern of complaints from consumers regarding selling practice, delivery and customer service issues. Complaints allege that GrowlerWerks, LLC hosted a kickstarter campaign to fund its business, products and services, making payments to the company ranging from $129 - $180. Consumers allege they were promised a gift pack for their support, however the products promised were never shipped to the consumers. Consumers further allege when contacting the company on the status of their gift pack, they were given estimated timeframes of when the products would arrive, however the products did not arrive. It is alleged that when contacting the company there is an unreasonable delay in the company’s response, or the company is unresponsive.
On June 10, 2016, BBB notified GrowlerWerks, LLC of its pattern of complaints. The company was unresponsive.
On June 22, 2016, BBB reached out to the company again regarding its pattern of complaints. On July, 6, 2016 the company responded to BBB requesting a 7 day extension to provide a response to its pattern.
As of July 15, 2016, BBB has not received a response from the company addressing the underlying cause(s) of its pattern of complaints.
