    I consigned two pieces of furniture with The Heights Shop. Both were vintage/antique pieces. One was a hand-carved wood stand with two solid brass trays, the other was a set of three solid teak nesting tables in excellent condition.November 14, 2019, Dropped off furniture for consignment November 19, 2020, Left VM message inquiring about status. No return call.June 8, 2021, Left VM message inquiring about status. No return call.December 2021, Called and was told someone would call back, but no one did.April 22, 2022, Called again and asked if I could please come in and pick up my items. I was given ******** the owners, direct number and told my items were not in the store.April 22, 2022, talked with ***** and sent via text a copy of my contract with the Height's Shop. I heard nothing.May 6, 2022, sent text to ***** to follow-up, he confirmed both items sold during a sale and a check would be coming, that his bookkeeper got COVID.May 26, 2022 sent another follow-up text to *****. Claims he signed the check, and it was mailed.July 1, 2022, followed up again, at which point I was told he signed the check himself; if I didn't have it after the 4th of July, he would hand deliver it himself. Still no check.I either want my items back or the payout as agreed. I do not trust this business anymore; please have the business provide proof of what the two items sold for so I can be assured I am getting the total amount due.
