    I arranged for a consultation with Mr. **** ***** of Mobile Mechanic Johnny that took place on 6/18/2024 to address an electrical issue. At the start of the visit, I inquired as to any fees for his visit, expressing concern that he had not yet disclosed this in any of our text or verbal exchanges, and he stated "don't worry, I'm not charging you anything yet." At the end of the visit, however, he suddenly stated that he expected me to pay $170 but when I became alarmed at this unexpected fee he had not discussed previously even when clearly asked, he assured me that the payment would be applied towards replacing the serpentine belt, an additional repair he had recommended. When I attempted to pay the remainder towards that repair and schedule service at a later date, Mr. ********************** stopped responding to any messages so now I have paid money towards a repair that never happened. Additionally, Mr. ********************** mis-diagnosed the electrical issue that was supposed to be addressed during the visit, stating that the issue was due to a rear taillight. This rear light was fully functional prior to Mr. **********************'s visit, but during the visit he broke this taillight while showing me the part and now it is no longer functional. This light also ultimately had nothing to do with the electrical issues, which still persist, and the light remains broken due to his actions. I have now 1) paid $170 for a repair that never happened 2) left with damages he caused that I have to pay to fix in order to have a safe vehicle again, and 3) have to find another mechanic to address the electrical issues he failed to properly diagnose. I sent a refund request on 9/11/2024 and this was not responded to.
