      The phone once I got it working is great. After a failed on line activation and disconnection of my old phone it took several phone calls to customer support to figure out my new phone was sent without a SIM card. I was then sent to ******************************* to receive help from the Consumer Cellular representative on duty there. When we arrived at 5:30pm there was note stating the agent was on break and would be back shortly. When the department closed at 7pm the agent never returned so we bought a SIM card and took it home. Two days after getting my new Galaxy 23 and another hour plus on the phone with customer support I finally had a working phone.The new Galaxy 23 seems to be a fantastic upgrade to my old Galaxy 10. The customer support team was kind and once the problem was solved very helpful. I just wished someone had figured sooner about the missing SIM card.

      Service is pretty good, but my brother in ******** and I have had a PARTICULARLY BAD EXPERIENCE with a CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE based in ******* named *****. She is VERY RUDE and was UNNCESSARILY IMPATIENT with my brother, who I designated to be an authorized agent on the account because the phone and account I purchased is for my elderly mother in the Bronx **, and he lives in Brooklyn, **. I am sorry I have to leave a bad review for Consumer Cellular because of this one bad apple in an otherwise good company with good representatives who I have had the pleasure of dealing with, but since I don't know how to get a hold of the corporate headquarters to submit my complaint, I'm submitting it here in the hope it WILL GET CONSUMER CELLULAR CORPORATE HEADQUARTERS ATTENTION, AND THEY WILL HAVE A HEART-TO-HEART TALK WITH REPRESENTATIVE ***** FROM ******* ABOUT HER LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS!

      I was somewhat challenged by the clerk at the Target store, the only clerk that knows how to set-up cell phones, not being around on the days he was supposed to be there since it's a 40 some mile round trip from where I live. However when I did finally catch him it was an easy set-up and transfer from my iPhone to the Razr. My iPhone was stolen two weeks prior and unfortunately I have lost all my saved contact numbers. I am totally happy with the sound quality of my new phone and the service that Consumer Cellular has provided me since 2010.
