I purchased this machine on 19 September 2022, however the dealer marked it as sold with Polaris on 31 August. Because of their actions I was cheated out of one month of my factory warrantee, and now ************ another month out of my extended warrantee. As you can see by the emails below, I asked why they did this and **** told me because they needed to post it as sold so everyone could get their bonus from Polaris. Now when I request them to fix the problem, they tell me not to call and hang up on me. These guys are poor quality people only looking out for themselves. I spent 38k for this vehicle, I should be able to have the service contract that is provided by Polaris for its entirety, however that is no the case. **** is the sales men, he is a poor quality, pitiful person who looks out for himself and his own wallet.HERE IS THE ***** CONVERSATION BETWEEN ME AND THE DEALER ONCE I FOUND OUT THEY STARTED MY WARRANTEE PERIOD, LONG BEFORE THE MACHINE WAS READY FOR PICKUP.................SHARE THIS ***** WITH THEM (AGAIN)From: "***********************" <********************>To: ********************************** Sent: Friday, September 2, 2022 6:38:55 AM Subject: Re: Invoice Hi ****,Thankyou for all the help with our build with this new machine. To whom it may concern,

This customer has created a narrative to fit his needs, and it simply not accurate.  He purchased this machine on 8/31/2022 where he put a $5000.00 deposit on it.  We finished installing the items that he purchased and he picked the machine up on 09/17/2022 as shown on his invoice, not 09/19/2022 and he paid for the rest of the invoice.   Prior to him picking up the machine, he e-mailed ** stating that our date of purchase was incorrect and he would like ** to fix the date. We contacted our sales representative at Polaris, and he was able to extend the factory warranty to 03/31/2023 which is 7 months total, (the factory warranty is 6 months).  Sometime went buy,and I assume that he got an e-mail or letter from Polaris asking him if he wanted to purchase an extended warranty through Polaris corporate.  He then purchased the warranty through Polaris corporate, not through Midstate Power Sports. He then contacted ** after the fact and was upset that the 30 days was not added to the extended warranty.  We told him that he would have to contact Polaris directly, as they are the business that sold him the extended warranty, and he would have to work it out with them, and we have no control over that.  Again, this was not satisfactory for him.  He proceeded to call back again after talking with Polaris corporate, as I assume they didnt tell him what he wanted to hear.  He was very upset and started yelling and threatening us with bad mouthing, writing bad reviews, ETC.  We told him that we dont accept customers or anyone yelling or threatening us, and not to come back here or call again and hung **.  In conclusion, Midstate Power Sports did exactly what we said we would do by adding the 30 days to the factory warranty, and we dont appreciate getting yelled at or threatened. This customer is no longer welcomed at our dealership.  On a side note, the dates were changed by Polaris Corporate, and his extended warranty now goes though 10/01/2024.

I am rejecting this response because:

    Dear BBB
The facts of the situation cannot be changed because a dealer attempts to explain their story, and try to justify their actions.  These people never helped me with my warranty issue, they lied about it and told me to go away. The facts still remain that the salesmen at midstate power sports (****)the one who handled out transaction marked the vehicle with Polaris as SOLDon August 31 2022. This was done without my permission or knowledge (yes he needed my signature on the invoice accepting the vehicle). This action began the very short clock ticking on a 6-month factory warranty. I sent an email to the dealer on 2 September asking them to contact Polaris, and tell them it was a mistake starting that warranty period, I wasnt scheduled to perform my initial inspection of the machine, or complete the transaction and sign for the vehicle until several weeks later. The email I sent is attached, where **** states there isnt anything to worry about. It will be fixed once I come and accept the vehicle in a few weeks. That was another salesman LIE I was told by them. When I got to the dealer to inspect, and pay for the machine I asked **** about the warranty period concern I had. What he showed me and my wife was a manipulated program on his computer where it showed I had factory warranty thru march 2023. This was another LIE he cooked up, some smoke and mirror deceit to make it look like the issue was resolved. It was not until a couple weeks later that I called Polaris warranty department to confirm that what **** had told me was true. The lady at Polaris said the dealer never fixed anything, the in-service date on your machine is still 31 August 2022 I told her my story;however, she could not help me, she said I had to go back to the dealer and have them fix it. Thats when I called **** and requested, he fix the date and give me what I had already paid for. He got really nasty, told me he could fix it but he wont, too much work. Then he hung up the phone. That was, and will be the last time I ever call that dealer.  They are pretty good at lying to your face, anything for a sale. These people leave a lot to be desired, they put their profit and greed over the customers. The fact still remains that when I purchased this machine, I was ripped of a month from my 6-month factory warranty and these people never cared, or fixed anything.
Here is the email I sent, with ***** reply to me, again this was a false statement, I trusted them to do the right thing and they didnt. I on ****** Reviews that I am not the only one who has a complaint about these people.

I had no reason at this point to believe they were lying to my face. I trusted them and I should have. How many other people have they ripped off with their warranty?

    Sincerely,
