Deceitful trash company. Unprofessional customer service representatives. They miss pick up days and don't allow extra bags due to their lack of proper scheduling. Basically a scam.

On August 7th, 2023, my mother and I were within a hundred feet of our house, in our car, about to pull into our driveway. A Pacific Sanitation driver was having some trouble leaving our street because of construction at one end of it. He made a move that seemed like he was pulling over so we could get into our driveway, and when we did, he suddenly started aggressively backing up at us. He slowly forced us down a narrow, parked-up street backward, backing up almost faster than our car was capable of getting out of his way, ignoring the desperate honking from behind him. This endangered not only us, but pedestrians and animals that could have been behind us. I almost bailed out of the car but realized I might be more likely to survive if I were still inside it when he hit us. We escaped, and my mom confronted the driver. He told her she was "in his way." If he had simply waited for us to pull into our driveway, it would have taken 5 or 10 seconds, instead of the solid minute of terror he put us through. We genuinely thought we were about to die right outside our house. Pacific Sanitation's customer service rep told my mom it "couldn't have been that bad," so she called the cops instead, who said they didn't see it so they didn't care. The owner of the company called my mother the next day and tried to convince her that everything was fine because their aggressive driver had cameras and could see what he was doing (which is worse!). Nearly two months later, I am still having anxiety attacks and Pacific Sanitation still has made no genuine attempt to make things right. I think it is safe to say, without exaggeration: Pacific Sanitation knowingly employs dangerous and aggressive drivers. They don't care about safety, they aren't professional, and I'm afraid they're going to get someone killed. They probably also mistreat their employees, because this driver was in such a rush to save fifteen seconds that he was willing to kill two people if necessary.
