On July 4 I placed order S274119 with Singapore Math: a set of books costing ****** for which I was charged ****** in shipping. The ********* customs did not allow them to enter the country and returned them to the sender. On August 7 I first contacted the company about the problem, but they have not only refused to provide a refund but also conditioned it to their receipt of the package. They are well aware that the package is on its way back. It might take longer to be returned, if at all, but worldwide rules applicable throughout the international postal service settle the matter. Article 5 of the Universal Postal Convention concerns the ownership of postal items:"A postal item shall remain the property of the sender until it is delivered to the rightful owner."(****************************************************************************************************************************************)In short, since the books have never reached me, they have never been mine and still belong to Singapore Math.Singapore Math has even tried to hide behind their own shipping policy, which says that they do not "provide refunds for unclaimed, abandoned, or refused packages."Well, the package was neither unclaimed, nor abandoned, nor refused for that matter. The postal service within my country did not "refuse" the package, because it is not in its power to do so; it returned the package, which is something quite different. It is only the consignee (i.e., myself) that can refuse to accept the shipment, and Singapore Math knows that perfectly well.Singapore Math ought to be thoroughly ashamed of themselves for trying to make a fool of me with such deceitful wordplay. To make matters worse, they shipped the books through **** instead of **** in direct opposition to their own shipping policy. There is absolutely no reason for them to withhold my money. As I did in my very first message to them, I request the full refund of $442.21 as promptly as possible.

I purchased a rental subscription from the singapore math website. The advertising appears that you are directly purchasing from them. Once the purchase went through it was paid to Vimeo. I asked for a refund because the product is not as advertised and then I was told there was nothing they could do even though this is a patent product. They said I had to go to Vimeo which I did and they said you have to fill out a form which is the utterly most unuser-friendly thing to get a refund but has to be approved by Singapore math because they hold the rights and patents to the products. Misleading advertising, nonaccountability, and the complete runaround,
