    Martin H*******, in our opinion is s a dishonest contractor and his work is subpar as stated in prior reviews. The materials used were the cheapest available. We have required another contractor to come in and fix all of the mistakes that were made, as well as complete the job he was paid to for. . Martin bids the jobs and then he hires other to perform the work. He rarely shows up. He put up plastic and did not secure it properly and our entire house was covered in construction filth. He experienced mice in our walls and frozen pipes and he flushed items down out drain in the basement causing toilets to be backed up and emergency plumbing calls. We asked that drywall not be used. He verbally told us multiple times he would plaster and we have painted drywall that needs to be remedied. He stated the job would be 6 weeks and it was 13 and still not finished. He kept walking off the job to keep another job running (we did have 1 week delay for cabinets but he could have worked on our powder room instead of walking off our job). Rarely did we have someone work a full week. . We picked out brick to match our home and he put in non matching brick. Even the grout colors we selected were not used. Do yourself a favor and run don't walk away from this contractor. His people even showed up at our home with the flu raging. No respect for the homeowner,, property and very dishonest. Do yourself a favor and hire someone else....
