    On 8/8/23 Keystone Garage towed my truck from the scene of the accident, My friend the next day figured out who towed my vehicle since I was not told the day before at the accident. While he spoke with Angie she told him the truck was ok there until an insurance adjuster came. I called Angie on 8/29/23 looking to get my vehicle towed back home. She asked who was going to pay the bill? So I asked how much it was, Angie told me the bill was over 3000 dollars. That the price of my vehicle being stored was over 100 dollars a day. I told Angie that at no point was I told about a storage fee, and that I refused to pay it. Angie told me that my insurance should cover it or that the other vehicle driver was at fault so they should pay it. After refusing to pay due to the price and that I only have liability, which would only pay the tow bill. Angie stated that the tow bill was 750 dollars. On 8/30/23 I went to get my itemized receipt from Angie and she told me that she did not have to give me one, and that she did not have to follow the pa rule I had found stating that I was to receive one. When I asked why the price was so high, and if it was just for the tow bill, Angie said that it was that high due to it being an accident and that the state police have them make the bill that high and that everyone who tows for the state police charges that amount. When I contacted other towing companies who tow for the state police one gave me a fee amount of 300-350 and another a fee of 475. When I asked about the price they charge for storage two companies said 45 dollars a day and another said 75. They also have fences to store the vehicle in while keystone garage does not and my vehicle has been unlocked the entire time. When I asked the state police about if they have the towing companies charge a certain amount, they stated they did not and that the tow companies choose that amount. The state police also told me that when asked Angie was required to give me a itemized receipt.

                 As I told Miss ****.  750 is our tow rate for an accident.  100 is our rate for storage.   Miss **** had her truck towed from  Keystone Garage and I charged her 350. Miss ****s insurance company called and we worked out that price. Not sure why it took Miss **** that long to call me about her truck, she could have stored it at her home or elsewhere. I don't think that the garages that tow people that have liability only should have to eat the price to store it on the property. As a tow company I'm here to help people but also I can' do that for free
