Original bracelet was purchased in December 2018 by my husband for as a Christmas gift, value over $150. As the bracelet was too small, owner agreed to extend it in early 2019. I also brought him jewelry to be repaired - 3 pairs of earrings. I kept messaging, calling, & driving to the store for the repairs, but he was closed due to illnesses. I finally got the bracelet in November 2019. Within 3 weeks a stone fell out. I brought the bracelet back in December, 2019, kept calling, messaging, stopping by. The owner, *******, was sick, & took months off, closing the store. When the store was open he'd promise my items, stating his repair shop was an hour & a half away, & it would take time for him to get there. When the store was open he'd tell me he'd try to get to the shop, or give excuses why he couldn't. I also gave him leeway in 2020 with COVID. In 2021 & 2022 he had the store closed for months, stating he was helping his daughter who was sick in New York, but again kept promising me he'd contact me when he was back in town to return my items. I kept contacting him throughout 2022 & 2023, going to the store & it was closed, only randomly getting a response back. He changed his phone number, but never updated the contact online. His girlfriend gave me his new number & again he told me about him being sick, near death, & his daughter's illness, & he promised my items back. I tried going to the store numerous times throughout 2023 & finally the store was open in October. He again told me about his illness & almost dying, & promised me my items. Since he has stopped responding again, I messaged that he needed to respond to me by Dec 8, 2023, & mail my items via certified mail. He has not responded. I am looking for the bracelet, or the money for the bracelet, & my items that he has to be repaired as 2 of the items are sentimental. I gave more than enough understanding with health issues, but want my items back.
