    We had a reservation 6/15-6/18. We paid $1392.88 & our confirmation number is ********. I attached the receipt showing we paid in full up front. At check-in we noticed the surfaces were sticky. There were surfaces that had a red slimy substance on it. I attached a photo. That night the toilet made gurgling sounds. We contacted the front office & were told they were sold out & could not fix the problem. In the morning we noticed a smell of sewage coming from both the toilet & the jet tub. The bathroom had a door & a vent but the jet tub was next to our bed & we could not block the smell with a door. We spoke to Pari, he came to our room, poured something down the drain & snaked it. He said he'd give a new room but after waiting until 130pm no rooms were available. My son took a nap & we were told after his nap we'd have a room. My son woke up at 4pm & there was no room available. We decided to go to dinner. Before we left, my son was sitting on the floor playing with toys. He said mama bug, mama I have a bug. I went over & noticed 4 roaches crawling into bathroom. I have attached photos. I went to talk to Pari. I showed him the pictures of the roaches & He said that he would give us a full refund. When we left we received a receipt that showed that we were only being refunded for $855.22. I asked the front desk rep when we would be refunded the balance was told that it would fall off the next day. I have attached that receipt. On June 21st the charges were no longer pending. On June 26th, there was a refund of only $537.66. We were missing $854.34. We talked to Pari & he said he never offered a full refund but would refund $299.27 + $18.88 to make it $855.22. I asked for a full refund & he yelled, said no & asked us to leave. We contacted choice & they could not help because it is privately owned. Those refunds have not showed up on our credit card as of July 10th. At present we are missing a refund of $855.22.

    I booked a stay with this hotel through Expedia. The stay stated that it was non-refundable. The booking was April 1st-April 3rd, 2023. Ended up being $202. I arrived to the hotel to check in on April 1st, at 4:03p. The hotel did not have any powerand no back up generator. I sat in the lobby until 5:40p. The electricity did not come back on. I left, then returned at 8:03p. Still no power. The hotel staff stated that there was nothing that they could do for me as they could not check me in. I then had to find somewhere else to stay for the weekend.
    Expedia stated that they would have to contact the hotel to get approval for the refund of $202. The hotel is refusing to provide me a refund due to it being 'non-refundable.'
    It irritates me because I showed up for my booking and the hotel was the one that couldn't accommodate the stay due to being out of power.

    *** ****** ***** made third party reservation, From Expedia.com. When guest makes third party reservation we don't have access for personal credit card. Due to thunderstorm on April 1st 2023, we had power outage for more than 12 hours. It's Mother Nature we can't control. Sorry for inconvenience.

    As reservation came from third party "expedia.com" and its expedia credit card we had refunded to expedia credit card. We had informed them as well so please contact Expedia for full refund. On our side refund has been process.

    Once again sorry for the inconvenience. Please contact directly at hotel if any further questions at 412.922.7555.
