Kingston appliance service offers everything but actual service. Want to get charged for service calls where nothing gets fixed? This is the place for you. First time the service man (I think there is only one man at this business and he refers to himself as the service man) was at our home was for our initial ice maker call in May of 2022. We gave him $180 via check. He deposited it. I have the cashed check on file if needed. He came back supposedly with ice maker a couple months later and said oh no I cant install this, you need drains. (Water had started collecting in the fridge). Then he came back a third time and said oh I cant do anything today you need a panel. We gave him a check for $475.25 in July, (I put a stop on that check today 12/29/22). That check was never cashed or deposited. He told my husband on the phone, oh the panel isnt in but you need a heater. We called at least once a month since May 2022 for updates since he supposedly ordered parts. He rarely picks up the phone when we call. I got a new job that required me to be in office so my husband called for me a few times too. I called today 12/29/22 at 7:50 am and he actually picked up and said I thought we called it quits I said what? Weve been calling for updates at least once or twice a month for 7 months I want my $180 deposit back. He also completely denied receiving the $475.25 check (it was never deposited and Im sure he lost it) Then he tried to tell me the $180 he deposited was less than the cost of the service calls where he came and did nothing, and threatened to send me a bill! I said yeah go ahead Ill get a lawyer. My grade for him is an F- for ultimate fail. I think I deserve my $180 back to put towards someone who will actually show up to fix my fridge. The first time to my house he also told me my fridge would stop working in 2 weeks if I didnt hire him to fix it. Here we are 7 months later. Images are $180 cashed check and fee for stopping the $475.25 today.
