    Salt Kettle Designs and its owners are less than honest. They stiffed their landlord for rent and other related charges totaling over $28,000.00.

    They take deposits and never do the work
    They scam people out of their money
    Whatever their issues or struggles are is on them. Stop taking money from innocent people.

    Salt kettle designs did an awesome job with my game room. They did shiplap on my walls, built a bar complete with stools, and even put in a built in mantle above my fireplace. Some of the finest craftsmanship I have ever seen, and I would definitely recommend them to anyone seeking custom carpentry.

    Scammed us! Joe and Tammy come off as very nice people, but they quickly take your money and then your troubles begin.
    They took large sums of money from my wife and I to build several pieces. They give excuse after excuse as to why the piece isn't ready.
    Eventually we gave up and chalked it up as a loss. Over $1000 they stole from us.

    Salt and Kettle Designs is a scam. They are collecting deposits without any intention of ever actually doing the work or delivering your product. After months of waiting, Tammy claimed that our build was complete and would schedule "install dates" only to cancel with an excuse at the last minute. After weeks of this, we finally realized what was happening and asked for photo proof. They never provided us with a photo; either the question was outride dodged or we were given more excuses. This led us to do some digging and we discovered multiple other victims who had similar experiences and had their money stolen, which has prompted us to take legal action and file criminal complains with the police department and DA's office.

    I do believe at one point they were actually building furniture but unfortunately this no longer seems to be the case. Don't learn the hard way like we did. Steer clear and spread the word. Report their Facebook profile as well to help shut them down so they can stop doing this to innocent people.

    Absolutely disgusting excuses for humans, shame on you Joe & Tammy.
