      The insurance desk is poorly managed. Voice mail hell with cutoffs.
      The insurance people mis-read _3_ submissions of my coverage. They threatened to force their insurance on me.

      I forgot to add that the email they tell you to use when they have a problem you will never get a response that is a ploy they use to keep you in the blind while they try to find ways to give you additional charges for anything. Again I want to file a class action lawsuit I need a 100 signatures and let’s put this company out of buisness with there unethical practices.

      We purchased a mortgage through our bank and the mortgage was sold to Shellpoint and Newreez is the manager of there mortgages. Worst thing that could of happened. Everybody you talk to is rude and nobody has a clue about managing mortgages. I want to get a group together to file a class action lawsuit against this company. I’m located in Beaumont Texas and if you ever here Newreez is taking over your mortgage refinance immediately.

      THERE IS SOMETHING MALICIOUS about a mortgage company that refuses to stop marketing to you! I've called MORE THAN TWICE asking to be removed from ALL MARKETING.
      TODAY I received not 1 but 2 marketing letters from NewRez today asking me to refinance! 3 letters, if you count my mortgage statement that also arrived today.
      1st marketing envelope said "Information about your mortgage", the 2nd said "Home loan updates". The 3rd said "statement enclosed". So only 1 of these three envelopes was honest about what was inside!
      I guess we will have to enact laws to stop these kind of deceptive markings being put on marketing envelopes. Every marketing letter, email or advertisement of any kind, should say ADVERTISING, in bold letters on the outside of the envelope, so we aren't duped into wasting our time on offers WE DON'T WANT!!

      Started a refinance in 2019 and this process went back and forth for a year. They ask for $400.00 for a processing fee. Refinancing still didn’t happened. Never saw my money again. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. My mortgage was sold to them. The process took over a year and I finally left and was told the manager would be refunding my money. Still haven’t seen it. Run from NewRez as fast as you can

      I got my mortgage from a different company originally, Newrez never informed me they had bought out my loan until I had to call them to make a payment. When doing so I told the customer service rep that I wanted to set up auto payment. She then asked me if I wanted them to save my card number for future payment (sounds kind of like an auto pay to me) I expressed my interest in saying yes. Then a month goes by, no payments made out of my account. Got into the second month and I had to call them. Now this is 3 months into.Newrez handling my mortgage and not once have I heard from them by phone, or mail. So I called them, again, made a double payment on my loan and said the last time I called they had told me they were saving my card for future payments. Then they informed me, that's not an auto payment, that's just saving the card number incase I called again. And then they told me how to set up auto pay online. Set that up, it has now been a year, no payment problems or anything, except on my credit it shows a delinquent payment they filed. And their customer service area is a joke in trying to help. All they say is to dispute it on their website, which I did and got a reply back saying newrez is not at fault. Called them again to try getting answers, well newrez doesn't deal with credit l, it's farmed out to a different company and they have no way for me to call them, so I have to AGAIN dispute it online. While in the meantime, every month my credit is getting hit with a delinquent payment (with a balance of $0)
      This is a joke that I am deal with this and I am very very unsatisfied with how newrez is dealing with it. (Pretty much telling me to bad, there's nothing they can do)

      They should be closed down! We payed out payments on time and they didn't process it. They made our credit score tank down. They suck!!!

      I made an accidental double-payment in June of 2022 for the July 2022 upcoming mortgage payment. When I realized my mistake, I called them and asked to either refund the accidental double payment or to apply it to the August of 2022 payment. The girl verified everything and said at the end of the phone call that she made sure that the extra payment was applied for August. In July 2022 I received a mortgage payment stub in the mail for August 2022. I called newrez again explaining all that had happened and this gal then told me that she made sure that the accidental double payment was now applied for August for sure. Two days later I called newrez again and used their automated account access. All it stated was that my next payment would be due in September. So I assumed she did what she said. But no, in August I got my September mortgage payment stub and the payment for August was not recorded. The outstanding principal balance had gone from just under $60K back to over $60K. What happened to the double-payment of $1,030.00 for August? Apparently they listed it as a reversal payment. I checked my bank account and no reverse payment of $1,030.00 was made to my bank account. Someone within newrez stole $1,030.00 from me! Now I have to spend time and lawyers fees to get that taken care of. I would never do business with these criminals again. But then again, I had no choice, my original lender sold my mortgage to these crooks and these crooks don't even provide a way to contact them via email or on the weekend via phone.

      This company has caused me and my husband nothing but stress and heartache. They have the most unethical business practices. They are non-responsive and problematic when I tried to work with them. When attempting to refinance they refused to release our loan and instead begun to create additional fees in retaliation. We are 4 years away of paying off our loan and they are making it financially intolerable due to their greed to gain from gentrification. Recently, Newrez charged us $2,652 for a "DRIVE BY HOUSE INSPECTION" without communication ... how unlawful are they?? DO EVERYTHING YOU CAN TO NOT WORK FROM THEM.
