    My wife passed away, and I moved from our family home to my new town home, and I wanted to give local business my money for new furniture that I needed for my home. I purchased 3 different dates. The first date was 6-10-22 for $853.25 for dining room table and 6 chairs. 6-17-22 for $1,944.95 for bed frame, mattress, and love seat. On 12-17-22 $79.50 for bed frame, because the bed I bought from store 6-17-22 broke and splintered in about 20 different pieces. The reason for the complaint is because all of the furniture that I bought, with the exception of the loveseat is awful. The mattress has a 10-year warranty. The one side has a deep hole in the mattress, the mattress looks broke, I called the store and spoke to the owner, he said that he would get back to me, however never called me back and said, "Good luck finding your receipts." The bed frame broke first. I was sleeping and in the middle of the night came crashing down, and when I looked underneath the bed was all broken and splintered apart in about 20 pieces. I went over to the store to talk to the owner, he just sold me a bed frame for $80, I told him that it broke, and he did not care. I called him numerous times to try and make things right. When the mattress caved in and started hurting my back that was the last straw. Then the dining room table all the legs are falling off. I spent over $2,800 with this business and the owner is rude, and not interested in helping me at all. The furniture was less than 6 months old when started falling apart. The only resolution now that I will accept is a full refund! I do not trust this man at all, and he will not work with me or call me back. The mattress has a 10-year warranty, and he still ignored me. Please look into for me and help me get a resolution. I have attached below all the receipts along with picture of the mattress. I can get any other pictures you need.

    As you can see in our tex he sent me 1-26-23 pics of the King Bed and I ask where it was broke, he sent more pics but not showing anything broke.  Then 1-31-23 ***** sent more pics out side but still not showing anything broke! But the funny part about all of this is he came in & bought frame 12-17-22 before all of this went down! But to find out the pictures of the bed outside was put on ******** Marketplace for sale, (not stating anything about being broke). So Feb 9-23 comes around & he sends me pics of the mattress on the frame he bought.  He did call me Feb 9th am & talked to me about the mattress set & said it was junk & wanted his money back, I ask to send pics & that I would contact the company about the issue.  He sent them & I could see he wasn't using the boxsprings he got with the mattress set.  There is know way possible to use the mattress on a frame without Boxsprings, so I sent pics to company & they got back to me Feb 23rd, thats when I messaged ***** what they told me! 

    They said that this is miss use and they don't stand behind a mattress not being on there Boxsprings. And the only warranty would be if a spring comes thru the cover.  They don't guarantee sagging on a mattress because some people don't flip often.  So as you can see on his pictures & mine what a frame like he bought looks like, it needs Boxsprings for support, I'm not sure why he is not using his.  The mattress will bend without support. (miss use) And as for the table set That was sold Last one Floor Sample ***** never said anything bout it or sent pictures.  The legs sure wasn't falling off when we delivered it or he wouldn't of signed for it.  Sounds to me someone doesn't know how to take care of furniture, & shows because of how he is using mattress!  For ***** to say he don't trust me I think is funny! And saying I didn't get back to him! Lol when I have proof that I was in contact with him thru tex's and even contacted him before I received this letter letting him know what the company said! And as you can see it out tex that he never showed or proved what was broken on the bed! And to sale it on Market Place it couldn't have been Broke!  And for him to down me, I guess I can say sounds like he just needs money!  When never proving anything broke and Just showing us how not to use a mattress! 

    So I'm enclosing receipts where he signed at (No Refunds or Exchanges) It's sad that we have to put this on our slips but its because people think they can use it & Return it 6 months later.

    I am rejecting this response because: I need the money back for the mattress!  As owner stated he sold me a box spring and mattress. Why would I NOT use the box spring.  I took better pictures and attached.  This business does not want to try and resolve anything with customers. He hangs up on you and says you're harassing him.  I will let the bed frame and kitchen table go however I need the money back for mattress.  I am not willing to take anything but refund.  I will report his business next to attorney general.  The bed frame, I sold on market place because he told me to!  I went back to his shop after the frame broke and I was laying on floor to purchase another frame from him. I told him that the board and legs broke and splintered.  He said you can fix with 2 x 4.  So I sold for 1/4 of the price and told the people how to fix it.  The kitchen table I got my handyman to put a couple bolts in legs and it is sturdy again.  The mattress however I need a full refund. I used it just like I should. I have my receipt and pictures of 10 year warranty yet the owner is not willing to stand by his products.  I feel that he is admitting he sells junk and he cant stand behind it.  I have friends that have a mattress for 30 years and it is still perfect.  This mattress is awful. He can come pick up and have it back and I will take a full refund.  Attached are the nw pictures. Thank you

    Dear ******* *******,

    As you can see in the photos I provided *****'s Lady Friend called me twice & sent a tex message. Sorry to let them know but I didn't get everything handed down from Daddy! My Dad is still living & is in full control of the company.  Now that I proved the Bed was not broken & never pass on table set being broke they want to forget about that & just want money back for the mattress set. But in the first letter to you from ***** They wanted all money Back for everything! Even when bed was already sold.  Now like ***** said & I said we did sell him a set Boxsprings & mattress!  And like he is stating why wouldn't he use Boxspring (you tell me *****). But being in the business all my life we hear alot of reasons Like want to be lower to the floor, trouble getting in & out of bed.  Yes you can do without boxsprings but you need a platform Frame! Not what you bought.  Remember you sent me the pictures in color and the mattress company saw them & agreed 100% you wasn't using the boxspring.  They could see how close it was to the floor & by your baseboard on the floor.  Now that you got your boxsprings out of storage & put in back on the frame you send picture in Black & white & crop it so you don't see the cloths Tree.  But its ok, lets put all that aside and get to the 10 year warranty!  The warranty only covers if a spring lets loose & comes thru the cover.  They don't cover sagging because some people don't flip & rotate often enough or sue a proper Frame.  But #1 it must be used on original Boxspring.  And if a spring came thru the cover when it was on its original Boxspring the mattress company would only exchange the mattress the mattress company does not give refunds. Im sorry this happened to you but colored pictures don't lie.  Sorry ***** I never told you how to fix you bed when you never showed me anything broke, or sell on market place.

    I am rejecting this response because:
    As you can see by the text that my girlfriend wrote he is unwilling to meet 1/2 way. It just shows that his products and service is awful he does not care about the consumer.  I bought both box spring and mattress from this business. I have used both of them since June   I am sorry I am not a professional photographer.  I did not have box spring in storage.  It is still in use to this day.  As you can tell the person representing the company never had a real job working with the public and getting issues fixed. I really don't understand why he would not stand by his products especially when it says it has a warranty.  I dropped the other 2 complaints because he is not willing to address anything, however I know people that have had mattresses for 30 years and does not look like mine.  He is a small company and word of mouth and the internet will cost him more than just dealing with this complaint. I always support small business because me and my late wife had a flower shop for over 12 years.   Where do we go from here?  Report to attorney general for selling faulty product and not making it right? Do you make a suggestion?   This is ridiculous to me. I mean I bought a full bed from this business in June and bought the box spring!  Him saying I did not use is ludicrous!  I really feel I am owed my money back for mattress and will keep going with this complaint. Not sure why he posted back about my girlfriend trying to help resolve the complaint I am glad he did so it shows he hangs up on people and has never dealt with the public. Awful. Just want my refund and to move on. I have to buy a new mattress it is giving me back issues.  It is a deep hole in mattress even with me flipping it does not help.  Please help !
