I needed two new tires, an oil change, a new thermostat and an inspection on my 2012 dodge grand caravan. I was told the price would be about $480. I said good; do the job. The owner said it would take one day. He then called me back and said I need new rotors and pads on all four wheels and it would not cost that much. He just needed an ok to do the job and I said ok. When I went to pick up the car which was three days later, the bill was over $1000 more for the additional work. I told him that was way too much. I was being overcharged. I paid him $700 on the account and I was going to pay him $200 more the following week but he showed up at my door unexpectedly and demanded the rest of the money on the bill , I told him that was too much and he said give me $500 and well call it even. I did not agree to that and my car was overheating and it turned out to be a faulty thermostat that he had put in and I talked to two other mechanics and they said I was overcharged and that the bill should be around $950-$1000 if the entire job was done right. Greenzweig told me my car overheated when he had it in the garage and he said it had to be bled to get the air out of the line but that was not correct. He put in a faulty thermostat. I feel the bill should be around $950 minus the new thermostat and installation .
