    We contracted with Mr. **** *****, owner of ***** Concrete and Excavating for a stamped concrete patio for $9,000. It was never completed as promised. First, they didn't have the right stamp, second they poured the wrong color concrete, third they didn't seal and make the cuts in the concrete as contracted to avoid cracks, fourth the seal was never even and always splotchy, 5th the stamped concrete patio cracked in mid-fall. Mr. ***** promised to come out in November and then stopped taking our calls, ***** finally answered Mr. ******* phone and said he would come out, but November came and went, spring came and went and ***** last answer after promising to come out and never showing up was they were just too busy. The warranty against cracks, etc. was a year, but they postpone coming out to inspect the issues so they can ***** their responsibilities. It is definitely a Buyer Beware when Contracting with ***** Concrete and Excavating. Today, we purchased an outdoor carpet to cover our expensive subpar stamped concrete patio.

    The stamp that was used was approved by customer prior to use. The color was chosen and ordered from the concrete company we dont control color and it was sealed and cut appropriately. We even came back and striped and resealed cause of white paint on patio and again over wood putty on patio. Then left sealer for customer to apply a third coat because we couldnt do it and he was told it would end up flaking off .

    Upon completion of our patio being poured, I reached to to see if the concrete that was splattered all over the siding and door of the back of the house could be cleaned. I reached out twice and my husband also inquired about it and our texts were never answered and no one ever came back to do the "clean up." We also got this patio poured because the original one we had was poured very poorly and sloped. When Bakeys did this pour, we were originally concerned about how sloped this patio is as well. My husband reached out about major cracks that were starting in the concrete and **** stated that these were normal. I have had several contractors come to our house who told us that the cuts that ****'s team made in the concrete were not normal and it could be causing it to not settle correctly and cracking. They were also very surprised at the mess that was left on the back of the house. At this point, we would need to replace our door/siding. None of our concerns that were texted to **** ***** were addressed within the year, as stated they would be in the contract.

    The contract stated After we pour the patio and finish it, we will grade the area around the pad as well as repair any damaged ****** paid in full for the job, attempted to reach out to Mr. ***** via text, Snapchat, and email as my grass is not growing in and Im sick with a mud pit. Im simply asking for advice on how to promote growth in addition to already watering it twice a day. I even bought more grass seed myself which I should not have had to do.

    ******************* was overpaid from my bank, acknowledged that he received the payment. Was attempting to pay me back than stopped answering and will not respond. He completed the work and I paid him. Than the bank sent another payment which was to be paid to me and not to him.

    Rich B**** wrote me a quote to build a fence and I paid him half the agreed amount for a deposit on 8/29/22. Over the next 2 weeks, he said he could not find the Lowe’s receipt for the fence order and then stopped communicating with me by 9/12/22. He did not build the fence or return my deposit.
