      I made the mistake of hiring a local Hometown mover versus using a national chain because I always try to support small business first. There were pricing discrepancies between initial conversation and final pay. When I tried to discuss it with the owner Im assuming, I was told that was what I was to pay and to pay it. When I brought to the attention of the owner, damage to my new leather furniture, I was told that they would reimburse me $30. Thats all they were legally allowed to reimburse me. I asked for their certificate of insurance to file a claim against their poor workmanship and all communication ceased. I have emailed, ******** messaged, and left five phone voicemails to their business phone number. Radio silence, crickets, wind, blowing. Not a word. I wish I wouldve paid extra for a professional company that when they made a mistake would do the right thing and pay for the repair. I wish I could attach pictures of the damage. I would give zero stars out of five, zero out of 10, two thumbs down. I was also charged extra for a gun safe, in addition to the extra fee I was charged. Movers were late and wouldnt leave until I paid the final bill. What wasnt told to me was that all movers are subcontractors. Terrible owner. Just out to take money.

      Double whatever quote they give you. Ive used movers in 3 separate states, same belongings, and always fast and efficient. Apparently these guys didnt have a good groove because the amount of time estimated which is all the time it should have taken, took double that amount of time so in the end when I paid the new rate, twice what I was quoted, the guy receiving my money electronically had the ***** to wait until it went through and then text asking for 54 more dollars because they didnt do the math correctly!! Already devastated to have given them so much extra (my single mom grocery money) I refused to pay any more. The movers were late, slow, took apart things I asked them not to, and crammed everything in to one room so that I had to tunnel my way through my living room. Other movers I have used had a system of team work down. These guys did not and it cost me hundreds of dollars extra. When I wrote a complaint to the company I never heard back. They literally took my money and ran and I was left feeling like a sucker and broke.
