I purchased a used car from Millenium Motors on March 9th, 2024. Upon inspection of the car, the salesperson told me that the car needed the rear differential replaced but Millenium Motors was fixing it. I could purchase the car ******* RAV4 2008) and when the part came in, ***** would call and have the repair done. About a week later, I dropped the car off to ***** and he took it to the mechanic that services their vehicles, it was supposed to be fixed. I picked the car back up and then 5 months later I hear a sound coming from the car. Take it to AAMCO and the mechanic informs me that the car needs a rear differential. I told him that it was replaced. He stated that "no way was it replaced. The one he looked at on the vehicle is "shot" and worn out". I feel I was scammed into buying this car, I was mislead about the repair. I am a senior citizen and a veteran, and I do not deserve to be treated like this. I sent a letter to the owner **** ****** and have called but NEVER get a response. I want them to pay to have this fixed, I feel that is the fair and right thing to do.

Dear Mr. ************ are saddened to hear that the vehicle you purchased back in March has begun having some issues. At the time of purchase there was a verbal agreement to fix an issue in the rear end of the vehicle. Upon inspection by our mechanics they determined the issue was a differential bearing that was then replaced at our cost. There was never any contractual agreement to replace the entire rear end of the vehicle, only to fix what was not operating correctly in the rear end.
As you stated in your letter, the part was promptly ordered and within a week the vehicle was repaired and given back to you in a timely manner. This vehicle was also sold with a 3 month/4thousand mile (whichever came first), powertrain warranty. That warranty was paid for by our facility as a show of good faith when purchasing a used vehicle, that we want our customers to feel secure in the purchase.
You also stated that the vehicle has ran and drove without any odd noises up until this point. Unfortunately, your three month/4 thousand mile powertrain warranty has ran out, as it has been 7 months since the purchase of your vehicle.
I have attached the purchase receipt of the part that was replaced to fix the issue at hand at the time of purchase, as well as the work order from our mechanics.
In regard to your mechanic stating that the vehicles rear end is old and shot, the vehicle is almost 17 years old.
Our responsibility was more than fulfilled when we covered the cost of the replacement of the bearing and labor, as well as including a warranty with the purchase.
At this time, we have no obligation to you or the vehicle that was purchased back in March.
    Sincerely,
    Millenium Motors

9/13/22 I went to look at a car being sold by Brent B*********/ Millennium Motors. I was told by Mr. B********* that the car was in excellent condition and his mechanic had did a thorough check on the car and that there were no issues. On 9/14/22 We completed the title transfer and purchase. After purchasing the vehicle, my dad took a look and told me that the tires needed replaced. On 10/1/22 I purchased 4 new tires at the cost on $658.40. I informed Mr. B*********, he told my mechanic that there was nothing wrong with the tires. to which my mechanic stated to him that they were indeed bald. On 10/12/22 My mechanic put on the new tires and did a thorough check on the car as I informed him it was making a noise. He then informed me that he had concerns that the transmission was bad and that he also had to replace the brakes. On 10/17/22 I contacted Mr. B********* informing him of the transmission concerns. He gave me the name of 2 places to call and he called a place for me, none of those businesses would work with the warranty company. I then contacted **** ******** ****** in Indiana PA. They agreed to work with the warranty company. The car went in for diagnostic testing on 10/19/22 where they confirmed that the issues were a bad wheel bearing and the transmission. I then had to wait for the estimate. I contacted Mr. B********* on 11/15/22 with these concerns and to inform him that I had to purchase a new battery also. I was told that the company would send me a check for the brakes and battery (that never happened). I informed him that the warranty only covered half of the estimate and that I had already spent almost 1000 on a car that he stated that his mechanic said was in excellent condition. I informed him that if a mechanic had indeed looked over this car, they would have found the issues and that his company was negligent with selling this car. I asked him to help make it right, and he never returned my contact to date.
