I bought a ********* coin from them for my husbands collection and they automatically put me on a membership without my consent. I emailed them asking to be taken off of their membership and to be refunded. They took me off the list but wont refund me my money without returning the coins. Theyre a scam. Dont fall for their bs

Well, the company has collected yet another negative review. My husband diagnosed with dementia began purchasing commemoratives when he was still able to hide his symptoms. I had moved from the house to care for my aging parent and did not know what was happening at home.Upon discovery, I attempted to reach out to the company to make returns and they would not accept them quoting their return policy of 30-days. Supervisors and upper management never seemed to be available. Calls were never returned. My husband than began receiving letters from the American Mint Credit and ********************** which was also never available to speak with me and again calls were never returned. Nothing was ever resolved, and I blame that on the unethical business practices and tactics used by American Mint. They actually had the audacity to send my husband to collections.I took a few of their product to be appraised and the only comment made was that the display cases were beautiful. I found their product to be of poor quality with just enough "precious metal" to call them Gold! The marketing/advertising practices of the company are also very deceptive. Although the front-line operators were nice enough and listened to my issues, I was never able to get passed them to speak to someone in charge. I do not write this review without a lot of soul searching. I always try to find the silver lining even in the darkest places. I want to add that I have contacted our local adult protective services, ******************************, district and general attorney offices, and department of aging to expose American Mint ************ advice to all is to stay clear of American Mint. There are more reputable and ethical companies out there.

Completely ripped my elder mother out over a thousand dollars in worthless coins. She thought she was buying something that would appreciate in value, but instead, is stuck with worthless coins when she needs the money most for the nursing home. They sent her coins month after month and she had no idea why she was getting them and kept paying. They need to be sued for their deceit. Folks, warn your parents-what they see on tv is NOT what it appears to be. She was crying this weekend and kept saying, "but the man said it was valuable." We are beyond upset.

The worst company AMERICAN MINT LLC, I've ever had to deal with. I asked *** company representative to take me off their mailing list back in 2007 and since then I've been receiving mail from American mint with additional offers. AND along with other companies that are similar to what American Mint sells with similar products. I asked *** a representative if they share personal information with similar companies, and *** totally denied it. I have Received Other Statements And Paper Work Along With Other People's Personal information, Names, And Account Numbers, And Addresses, With Amounts Due, in the Same Envelopes along With A Previous Account With My Name And Personal information That I Have Never Been Associated with. And now they are charging me late fees for other statements that I never received, this company is a farce... and need to be investigated for FALSE ADVERTISING. And misuse of other people's personal information...

American mint said the silver dollar was free . Arnold S****** assumed this to be true. He is 95 years old. He paid 6.96 May 10, 2023, check number 2397. Then he called and they told him he owed 63 cents. He sent check 2814 8-15-23 for ,63 cents. Now he is receiving a bill for 100.25. He would like to report this false advertising and settle this.

Had an online scratch ticket of 2 coins for $6.95. Really didn't expect much at that price. The layered coins came today with a bill for $85.16. They are definitely a scam company. Avoid at all costs!!! I will try to return without it costing a fortune to return.

I made a purchase on americanmint.com of a Princess Diana commemorative two years ago as a gift. The company American Mint falsely advertised the price of the coin - it was listed at a price of $9.95 before shipping + tax. I paid the amount and received the coin. A few months later I began receiving letters harassing me saying I owe them money. After doing more research into the company (which I should have done prior to purchase) and reading other customers' reviews of others having similar issues, I recognized the company was trying to scam me and I ignored the letters. Two years later, a debt collector representative from the National Recovery Agency called me this week to tell me I owe the company $169.40, which is not at all what the price was listed for upon purchase. They have been harassing me for two years with weird aggressive letters and now I have to figure out what to do about this person claiming to be a debt collector. Do NOT buy anything from this company. After having my own experience with them and reading SO many others, this company should be under formal investigation.
