      In November 2018 I purchased two ******** power reclining sofas plus 10 year warranty from Sofa Selections Harrisburg PA for $2931. In November 2022 we contacted the store as there is extreme peeling and cracking on the inside of center cushion panel where it meets the right hand seat. Both sofas had the same problem, same area. This area does not come in contact with your body while using the sofa. There is no rubbing when the right seats are reclined. The store manager sent out a tech and contacted ********* whose only recommendation was for us to pay $500 to pay to have the two center seats replaced. We believe this breakdown was from a faulty application of the leather/vinyl to the furniture. I might note the leather sofa I replaced at age 20 had no peeling or cracking whatsoever. I believe ********* should bear some responsibility for this defective workmanship rather than us paying $500 for replacement.

      Dear BBB,

      It's obvious that ************** dispute is with ********* the Manufacturer and not us, she stated as much at the end of her complaint. Klaussner, the manufacturer only warranties leather for one year from the date of delivery. She had this for over 4 years prior to bringing her issues with it to anyone's attention. The 10 year warranty she purchased is through a third party company called Servco. Servco does not cover cracking and peeling of leather I will attach a copy of their warranty along with *********'s warranty. We also as a furniture store are not movers ,but went above and beyond for this customer by moving her furniture from the original home to a second home because  as she didn't trust the movers to do it properly. Unfortunately for her this alone would have voided her warranties within the first year since most do not warranty after the product has been relocated.

      5/10/2022 we purchased the ******* ****** sectional and paid for delivery. It was delivered as promised by the end of May. About a week after purchase the fabric started unraveling. I didn’t complain how ever it has gotten worse over time and last week we noticed a loose board. I called sofa select in HBG since that was the number our receipt. I spoke to ***** *******, the owners daughter. She said the fabric was defective on that model but the manufacturer had gone out of buns so there was nothing she could do. She was extremely rude and laughed at me several times . I feel we are owed another sofa at the same price since defective. They are actually still selling the product with known defect. She offered to sell me another style ** ******* for $1400 we paid over $1300 plus delivery for the first sofa. I explained I was not buying another sectional 6 months after buying the first one. After going back and forth with her I suggested getting cushions from one they had in stock. She said she would check and get back to me.she said she could not guarantee they other cushions would not do the same thing. I spoke with my husband and we are not happy with that outcome since it will most likely happen again. The couch is awful looking. They sold us a known defective product and we want to be made whole with a non defective product.
