    Nathan was requested to provide a quote for electrical work on an in-ground swimming pool being installed. He provided the highest of 3 quotes, but stated he had completed other pools in our township, and was familiar with the pool code. We chose to work with him because of his "knowledge" base. Nathan required payment for the job upfront, so we paid him the $6,000 in full. He cashed our check and received the payment. (Quote/estimate and check stub attached).

    Nathan struggled to wire a 240v breaker and had to call in another electrician. We failed the first electrical inspection, during which the inspector asked if my husband did the wiring himself since it was so unprofessional. Nathan returned and tried to cover up the mistakes he made rather than fix it the correct way. The inspector returned and immediately saw the tricks he was trying to pull. We failed the second inspection. Nathan stated he had to buy specialty equipment to complete the job, and would let us know when he would be back to complete the work.

    It has been about 9 months, with no contact. Nathan will not answer the phone, text messages, or voicemails. My husband now has to do the electrical repairs himself and we have spent hundreds of dollars on parts to redo his work (in addition to the money already paid to Nathan). The more my husband tears apart, the more mistakes and sloppiness we uncover.

    We no longer want Nathan to complete the work, as we feel he is untrustworthy. However, he accepted full payment for a job he never completed.
