      Jim Shorkey Kia in North Huntington will try their best to inconvenience you into trading your car in as opposed to them fixing it. Sales are down, I have the certified warranty and an extended warranty. I'm burning oil and coolant. Did a consumption test and it's "not burning enough". *** is such a garbage product anymore that it's normal to replace 10qts of oil between oil changes. Now burning coolant, so it's a head issue, cylinder issue, or something else internal. . . They charged me 169 to diagnose that it they want to try a flush n fill, also not covered, but also won't do squat for burning coolant. With sales down they just want you to trade in, I'm sure they'll fix it before reselling it. . Actually they probably wouldn't. But they want you to trade in, so they get a sale, as opposed to honoring warranty on these sh**y cars. Stay away from Shorkey *** in North Huntington. I bought this car certified, it was sold to me with a malfunctioning sun roof, out of alignment, a broken belt in a tire, and warped rotors. I'm not sure who "certified" this. When they fixed my sunroof after months of trying and contacting *** corporate, they gave me a loaner that was so disgusting. My wife and I had to clean it prior to even using it "I have images". Stay away from this dealership and I'd say their whole family of dealerships. So now I have a car burning oil and coolant and they're offering diagnostics that make absolutely no sense. They're probably going to offer to try a tire rotation next for my coolant and oil related issues. ********.

      As a former employee of Jim Shorkey Kia North Huntington I can tell you this, the time I spent at this location specifically was the most career hindering time I have spent at an establishment. The service manager (we wont name names at the moment but that may change) is so absorbed in his own lies and scams that he can barely keep his head on straight. Between scamming insurance companies for engines to underpaying their employees so they can drive extravagant vehicles. The time I spent here was disappointing to say the least and I would advise ANYONE looking for employment to go anywhere other than here, the technicians are all fantastic people. Upper management however will give you promise after promise with no result. they have the lowest wage in the industry with the most responsibility put onto technicians. If you are anyone who actually matters reading this you need to look at your GM and your Service manager at ****** a little closer in my opinion. Nobody should be driving vehicles worth 100k+ and their techs are as underpaid as they are.

      I brought my vehicle into the service department at the end of June. The recall for the O2 sensor led to the engine being repaired extensively. During the first month and a half, the only option provided to us for a vehicle was to rent on our own at a rate of $45 per day to be reimbursed upon completion of the work. I have submitted the receipt for this and have not been contacted about any reimbursement. After several requests for an alternative we finally spoke with **** on ******* day off and were made aware of the option for a loaner vehicle. We finally were told our vehicle was completed and I picked it up on Sept 18th and made it about 3 miles before the check engine light came back on. I came straight back to the dealership and was told it was an issue with the catalytic converter and we could not continue using the loaner as our vehicle was safe to drive even with the bad catalytic converter. Saturday as my wife was driving, the vehicle stalled out completely and was reporting engine overheating. I had the vehicle towed to the dealership and was given a new loaner with ****. First thing this morning I received a call from ***** who advised me the catalytic converter will not be covered and I am to return the loaner immediately even with my car engine displaying engine overheating issues. This vehicle is not safe to drive.

      If i can rate *** SHORKEY 0 stars i would!! I finally volunteered Repo my 2017 ******* MKC last month smh all i can say is i hate *** SHORKEY a million and 10 times!! ***** the kind driver who picked my car up said he pick up volunteer repo *** shorkey vehicles EVERY DAY ???? I was a victim to their SCAM! In 2022 i bought my car from Jim Shorkey Mitsubishi north hills and it was everything i could imagine for 2 weeks then the check engine light came on. I took it to their service center and they told me they can fix it for $500 the issue is yall sold me a car with a limited warranty and that was wrong smh. I never bought a car before had no experience . I LEARNED MY BIG OLE ******** I shouldve turned the truck in that day but me loving my lil ******* ?? i kept it. Literally days after my tire pressure light kept coming on took it to champs and had to get a new tire (I JUST BOUGHT THE ******** 2 weeks later my break light come on ?? breaks is making so much noise i couldnt keep driving so i took it to get service once again! 3 time in a month of having this car its now the 3rd service. They told me all my breaks is 9/10 & 10/10 in the back i dont need any breaks and rotors changed. Left and rode with the truck squeaking for months for them to say they out cheap breaks on and not ******* parts. I kept the car for sometime i had it for 2 years and this car did nothing but stress me out and every time i take it to get service everybody ask me WHERE YOU BUY THIS AND WHY? Smh best believe my next auto buy will NEVER EVER EVER BE FROM ***************** **** or **** SHORKEY I STAMP THAT!! Now its 2024 and i called my bank and told them to come pick this LEMON up cause i had enough with it. ?? I HATE *** SHORKEY FACTS I HATE THEM SO MUCH! Im so sad ????

      I contacted sales person, ****, on Friday re: 2016 Nissan Rogue, said I would be there on Tues. a.m. early to see it. I thought they were closed on Mon. (holiday). When I got there, I was told the *** was sold. I drove over 20 mi. No one called me to let me know it was sold.Several years ago I almost bought an *** there. It was advertised as one price, then they told me they did repairs and could not sell it to me at that price. The price was higher. I did not buy it.After reading all of the complaints, I feel that they did me a favor by selling it to someone else. I don't know how BBB could give Shorkey an A+ rating.

      Jim SHORKEY KIA sold me a ********************************************************************** about it! I have already had to spend $700 to get it fixed in MAY OF 2024 and here we are in late AUGUST OF 2024 with the same issue!

      ***** knows their stuff! I visited the bakersfield lot to find a top-quality truck, and they delivered. The process was straightforward, and the financing options were good. Now, months later, I'm still impressed with my truck's performance

      My 2023 KIA Forte was broken into and they tried to steal it, but they could not do that due to the fix KIA did on this years model. I had the car towed to Shorkey Kia for repairs, only has 6500 miles. the back passenger side was broken to get into the car. there was a dent under the right front side light along with the steering key area busted out. My Allstate agent went and did an estimate that Shorkey KIA agreed to. I find out 3 days before my car was to be done that Shorkey KIA's BODY shop does not take insurance claims from Allstate?? How can Shorkey KIA accept Allstate insurance for the mechanical work and not the body work?? I call and left a message with the GM but never got a return call? Now i have to take my car to another place to get fixed. This is just not a way to treat your customers. FUTURE BUYERS WITH ALLSTATE INSURANCE BEWARE BEFORE YOU CONSIDER BUYING THERE.

      I walked into this dealership after my husband and I had been insulted at another Jim Shorkey location a mile down the street. I should have known this was going to be, at least an equally terrible experience. I'll just skip to the painful points... I traded in 2 vehicles, one of which was a low mileage Jeep worth way more than what they gave me for it. I know this as they posted my vehicle online, with pictures before I even completed the paperwork for my new vehicle. They didn't do me any favors on the price of my new vehicle and left me feeling pretty ripped off. But I was getting a newer vehicle, it had already been a number of hours, it was late, and I had an hour drive home so I accepted terms and moved forward. There are major scratches on the front end this new vehicle that I pointed out before I even test drove. I was assured that Shorkey 'Wanted to Make It Right'... so they agreed to correct the paint. This was to be scheduled a couple days later. I was also asked to sign additional paperwork they overlooked previously. During these few days, it had rained and I discovered a wiper motor was malfunctioning; I made it known that there was a defect in a widow wiper and was assured that would be fixed too. It wasn't, they needed to order a part and will call me when it's in. I went to pick up my new vehicle post paint correction and they simply took a paint pen, seemingly from the craft store and made the marks look even worse with rough, chipping paint now. It's been 2 months since I bought this vehicle and Jim Shorkey will not return our calls, they never ordered the $45 part, saying I need to use my warranty to fix the wiper... Jim Shorkey has every excuse in the book to 'NOT MAKE IT RIGHT', even claiming they didn't know it was broken until now, despite text proving they were made aware days after driving off the lot. DO NOT BUY YOUR VEHICLE HERE! Safety check was clearly a lie as I was told, 'just don't use your wiper'.
