Purchased my food explorer in September 2022. When I went to look it over the explorer I noticed the back tires were bald along the tires edges as well as a small chip in the windshield. Mentioned these issues to the sales guy (****). He talked with the managers whom assured me these issues would be corrected by having the windshield repaired and ordering two new back tires. Told me that they would call me back to schedule to have these issue fixed. I wouldnt sign any contract until these issues were guaranteed to be fixed. They wrote down that they owed me two new tires, and a repair to the chip on the windshield. Its now the end of March and still nothing done with the vehicle. After purchasing I have also noticed some other issue that need addressed, and spoke with sales person (****) who stopped responding to my texts after purchasing vehicle. I have made several attempts to speak with someone, and no one will return my call or text messages. Completely unacceptable and the worst vehicle purchasing experience I have ever had! Will definitely not buy from this dealership again in the future, and will discourage others from purchasing from them as well!

It's clear that Jim Shorkey Ford only cares about maximizing their profits by taking advantage of their customers.I was pressured into purchasing a $1500 protection package (Luxcare XT) after explicitly declining it multiple times. Jim Shorkey Ford refused my request to refund any money and made no effort to resolve the issue.I expressed my concern to both the finance manager and the general manager, only to be told repeatedly that the car had already been treated and that the money was non-refundable. This excuse seems all too convenient for them. After looking into the Luxcare XT product further, it appears to be nothing more than common paint sealant, wax, and leather sealer - likely worth well less than $100. This product provides very little value for the absurd and unjustifiable cost of $1500.I feel exploited and ultimately deceived. The sales process at Jim Shorkey Ford is intentionally confusing and predatory.I'm shocked that a reputable business would refuse to refund my money for a product that I'm extremely dissatisfied with and didn't want to buy in the first place.

We agreed to a vehicle and a price via text messages with the sales person ***** they had a car on the lot that was sold, but we wanted the same exact car the same package And the same color and the sales person agreed to match the price we drove over an hour and when we got there they refused to match the price and added $10,000 to it when we were leaving I called the manager *** and left a message and he refuses to return my phone calls I have pictures of the vehicle that include the price and all the text messages saying they would agree to it.

I really want to give them a 0 star review. Im hoping I can save another young individual from being scammed into paying over the asking price of the vehicle and issues you will be dealing with shortly after buying your vehicle. So I purchased a 2017 Jeep wrangler unlimited sport back in June or July of last year I was charged $5,000 over the asking price of the vehicle plus was almost ripped off of my trade in. I have proof of what it was on their website and they wouldnt do anything about it. Then shortly after buying the vehicle I had to put new calibers on the front because they locked up. October of last year it ended up in the shop for a whole month over the engine going bad and I didnt get it back till almost the end of November. Then December 10th of last year it ended up back in the garage for the oil pump going out of it they garage shut my code off and told me to keep driving it. Then the end of December it went back in to finally be fixed told me that it would be a 2 hour fix and I didnt pick up my car until the end of the week. This dealership is not worth dealing with because all they care about is money and not their customers. Im currently upside down for a vehicle that was well over the msrp and stuck fixing something they said passed their car fax which I dont believe

Hi *******! This vehicle was purchased 20 months ago as a preowned vehicle. The used market at that time was the highest the used market has ever been. As a used vehicle, there is no MSRP for the vehicle, it is a market value on the pricing of the vehicle. The original MSRP of the vehicle back in 2017 was higher than the ****** sale price we sold the vehicle to you as. Since your purchase was 20 months ago, the used car market has definitely taken a down turn in value. We as deals have lost a large sum of value in our inventory as well and have taken massive losses on vehicles on ground. Buying a 4 year old car and then almost 2 years later, I can not predict what the market would do in two years for the customers equity situation. Looking back at the deal, we gave the you the payoff on their trade, did not sell any products with exception of Gap. I am not sure where the you are coming from with 20 months later that the vehicle was sold was over MSRP again, used vehicles that are 4 years old do not have MSRPs, they are market value. In regards to service, I have scoured the phone records for the number listed above and have not found 1 phone call in our systems. We would be glad to check out the vehicle if there are any issues with it for you. We have the highest customer service ranked service department in ********** for Stellantis at this dealership. I would be glad to furnish a direct line to the service manager to help get her scheduled in. We would be glad to diagnose her concern at no cost to see what is wrong with it.

This is my first ever online review of a business and If I can save just one person the trouble of getting screwed over by This place it will be worth it to me. But my goal is for everyone to get a fair deal somewhere on a vehicle that they depend on every day of their lives. I have had bad experiences with this place in the past but that was many years ago. I was hoping maybe things have changed and they offered me a fair price on my 2022 Ram **** trade. Plus my sales person ***** seemed so nice so I thought I would give it another shot. I downsized to a **************************************************************** the front of the vehicle. I then realized while looking at the car I didnt check the tires. Big mistake!! The tires were worn especially the front ones which is the cause for the thumping noise. To wrap this up. My calls were ignored for days. Then I played phone tag with 2 managers and *****. they could have did the right thing and had new, safer tires on the car that I over paid for to begin with. The atmosphere also changed to the negative side after I refused the extended warranty.Update. 12/27/2022 Another manager or employee **** called me today. Wanted to dispute my Review. Tried to say I refused to bring my car in to be looked at and said my other statements are not true. I called his bluff and Within 30 minutes I was at the dealership. I was hoping it was time that Shorkey was going to make things right and take care of the tires. All I did was waste time that I didnt have. All they did was say the tires are above 2/32 which is the requirement for inspection. As a certified state inspector myself I know this. This is not the issue. The issue is the front tire wear is feather edged or Chopped and and you can hear and feel it while driving. This dealership is a disgrace. Please if you buy a used car go over the entire vehicle. If you dont know anything about cars take someone that does.

I bought a 2017 mkz from shorkey mitsubishi only to find out it was wrecked and not disclosed, why didn't they disclose this? Glutton for punishment I recently purchased a 2022 ram from shorkey in North hills. Had the truck for 2 days and I asked the manager if I could have my old truck back the 2022 was garbage. He preceded to say after I signed the title there was nothing he could do. I purchased the truck for ***** and today with 800 miles it's worth *****. How can dealerships get away with this? What ever happened to looking out for the consumer? The manager had the nerve to tell me " as a friend I'll make good of the deal" what a lier.

Really wanted to give them 0. They have been stringing me along since July. I have an engine issue that is under warranty and they won't resolve my issue and want me to rent a car for a month so they can replace it. I am a senior of 72 and don't have that money. If it's their responsibility to replace them they should provide me with a vehicle at no out of pocket cost to me. They even put on a new catalytic converter assembly in full knowledge that because they haven't replaced the engine they are only polluting those new parts.

******************** brought her vehicle in 07/15/2022 for an oil consumption concern. The dealership set her up to have an oil consumption test started. We would need to top off oil and have customer drive 1k miles to monitor the consumption of oil. We started test at ******. She returned on 9/20/2022 to have the oil checked. The dealer found it was excessively low on oil. 1.9 quarts per 1k miles. ** per *** guidelines anything over 1 quart in 1k miles is consider excessive. They have a bulletin out that If the vehicle fails the first test that we need to do a cleaning procedure to clean the engine of carbon. We scheduled this for the customer and performed the cleaning procedure on 9/27/2022. ***** the cleaning procedure we then have the customer drive an additional 1k miles to have the vehicle checked. So she would need to return after her vehicle reaches ****** miles. ***** the cleaning procedure ******************** brought her vehicle in for a check engine light at ******. We diagnosed and found a separate issue with the catalytic converter. Which was replaced under warranty for the customer. Since then the customer has not brought vehicle back to have the final results of the oil consumption test. We have left her multiple messages and still do not have an appointment for this customer. *********************

Only gave Shorkey 1 star because you can’t give less than 1 star.2015 Fiat 500 was brought in on Oct.3,2022.Service manager said he would order the part and it should be there the next day. Part arrived, was installed(as per manager) on Oct.7,2022.Damage done to vehicle, after 3 calls to service, told service manager I’d be in, Monday, October 10,2022.After speaking with a person stating he was the head of service, told him after reading complaints about Jim Shorkey on Google that maybe I’ll get a class action lawsuit going against Jim Shorkey. Dude laughed and said” Good Luck with that and hung up.” Jim Shorkey-I don’t suffer fools or bad actors in the Automotive World. Have a Nice Day.

One of the worst places to buy a car. Pressured me into buying a used car. Two days later car wouldn’t start and they said they wouldn’t tow it back. Radio was drawing power. Don’t believe they did a full safety inspection. Wouldn’t answer phone calls were hung up multiple times. *** sales guy was absolutely rude and **** sales manager we’re not helpful. Tried to get trade vehicle back and they said that wasn’t possible. Added $1500 for detailing after they said it was free. One of the worst dealerships I’ve ever dealt it.

We have no record of an ********************* purchasing a vehicle at our location. However, we assume this complaint is based off ************************* purchase of a 2017 ************* on 9/19/22 in which ********************* is the alleged boyfriend of ********************. As mentioned, the vehicle was purchased by ******************** on 9/19/22. **************** accompanied ********************, but was not financially involved in the purchase and therefore was not pressured into buying a used car as he claims in his complaint. During the purchase, *************************** Salesperson *****************, indicated that **************** questioned ******************** if she could not afford the vehicle, however, ******************** was confident that she could afford it and elected to proceed with the transaction. ************ offered ******************** other vehicle choices that were less expensive, however, ******************* indicated that she loved the 2017 Wrangler, indicated that it was right in her price range, and even expressed gratitude for the interest rate we were able to assist her in qualifying for. ******************** left the dealership very satisfied with her purchase. On September 21st at 2:58 p.m. ************ reached out to ******************** on a recorded line as ******************** indicated that her Wrangler would not start. ************, stated that he would see if we could get it towed here, Im sorry to hear about that at 1 minue 8 seconds of the phone call. At 3:04 p.m. ************ texted ******************** the *** Roadside Assistance number. At 3:13 p.m., ******************** texted it says no towing sessions are available. At 3:16 p.m., *********** texted Im going to see if we can get it towed, hold on and asked for the address of the Wrangler. At 3:53 p.m., ************ texted Trying to get tow guy out there tonight. At 4:55 p.m., ************ texted tow guy is on the way I believe. At 4:56 p.m., ******************** texted, Someone is coming and bringing it to you guys. **************** alleges in his complaint that car wouldnt start and they said they wouldnt tow it back. The documented text messages and phone calls verify that this allegation is untrue. Once the vehicle was towed in, it was determined that it needed a battery. However, further diagnosis was completed in order to ensure that there were no additional issues with the Wrangler. It was further determined that the radio was drawing power while powered off and would need to be replaced. The radio was ordered with an expected arrival time of one week. There was no cost passed on to ******************** for the tow, battery, or radio. ******************** was also given a rental vehicle while the Wrangler was being diagnosed, again at no cost to her. When picking up the Wrangler, **************** asked for a wheel lock key which was also ordered at no cost. **************** alleges in his complaint, dont believe they did a full safety inspection. The attached Used Vehicle Inspection checklist and accompaning Repair Order that were completed on 9/1/22 verify that this allegation is untrue. **************** alleges in his complaint *** sales guy was absolutely rude. However, **************** fails to mention that made several profanity laced phone calls to ************ that were considered very inappropriate. Although ************ continued to assist ******************** in having her vehicle towed in, he did advise **************** to cease directly profanity at him. If **************** finds this to be rude the intention was to have **************** to cease using profanity in order to work on a solution to the problem.**************** also alleges in his complaint that **** sales manager were not helpful. ***************************, spoke to ******************** father on the phone during two occasions, ensured the vehicle was given further diagnosis after the battery was determined to not be functional, assisted ******************** in getting a rental car, and ordered the wheel lock key at ****************** request. **************** also alleges in his complaint Added $1500 for detailing after they said it was free. ******************** detail of her car is included in the purchase, however, ******************** elected to purchase ******** XT for $1495. ******** offers interior and exterior protection which is professional applied to the interior and exterior of the vehicle and is backed by a five year warranty. Please see the attached documentation wherein ******************** acknowledges the purchase of this product on two separate forms. Therefore, ****************** accusation that we added $1500 for a detail is also untrue.
