Horrible bank! Where do I start...Limited online transfers per month, terrible customer service. When I call customer service, nothing gets accomplished. I then am forced to go to a branch. Going to a branch is a waste of time and energy because only one person can help you out of the 5 people that are there. You get charged to have a checking account open if a certain amount of money isn't being deposited. Can I give zero stars??

I suffered from a financial crisis because I chose PNC as my mortgage lender: one of the terrible choices I made in my life. The mortgage officer assigned to me added $6000 to buy a point without my knowledge or approval and I didnt know that was added till the closing day. However, before my closing day I asked the officer to go over the costs with me after noticing a higher closing cost, he stated he will look into it and will call me back. of course he didnt call back because that was intentionally added to benefit them and put me in financial crisis. I called and informed the bank hoping they will fix this error, and they refused. They hide this information in one of the MANY documents they have me signed. This is extremely disappointing. Now I am struggling to pay for my mortgage already as they took away the money I saved to pay for two months of my mortgage. What a terrible bank!

For the past 3-4 months PNC would start adding funds to my account at random points of the week. Then a couple days later make all the transactions hit at once to force overdrafts. Why do you allow this? I have been charged so much in overdraft fees even though I have overdraft protection. This is an issue on your end and I want my account looked over and given an in-depth review and then refunded for every overdraft transaction because it was on the banks processing fault and not my own. When a transaction is posted to an account it should not come off of the account. Fix this problem PNC, and I would like every dollar back that you falsely promoted I had in my account because if I knew I didnt have it I wouldnt have spent it. They refuse to do an in-depth review and only agreed to talk over the phone about it. When I want someone to go through my account with a. Fine toothed comb to see their mistakes.

PNC - pleasing no customers Left this bank almost a year ago for terrible customer service.I was recently sent money via cash app and the funds were deposited to this closed bank account. I went to the branch to explain and get my money as I was told I could.PNC for some reason put a hold on the small amount of $98 and then was unable to do anything about it after an hour of being in the branch.*********************** tried to help me but after an hour of standing and waiting on the phone, she could not get ahold of anyone to explain why there was a hold or to have it removed.I left he branch with no money, no explanation, and no expectation of next steps. This bank and all of its locations are a joke, the customer service are lousy no matter what location / state you are in. Would give this organization no stars if possible.Literally any other place to bank is better than here.Upset about the $98 but is a small fee to realize I have made the right choice taking my business elsewhere.Look at all your options before opening an account with this organization.

PNC is not at all what I expected. We are not permitted to move more than $2,000.00 per day, or $5,000.00 per month, either in, or out of the high yield savings account using the online external transfer option. So, the only way to move larger amounts (in or out) is to send/receive wire transfers which will cost wire fees at both ends ($50.00 to $65.00 total). This means it would cost me more to move my money than the interest I earn on this savings account. There is no limit to check deposits into the account, but they will take your money out of your external account the day you deposit the check, however they will place the deposit(s) on hold for 5-7 days while PNC earns the interest during the interim period. This has become a standard banking practice with most banks and I suspect they earn hundreds of thousands of dollars every day in interest on our money while they hold it. Lastly PNC does not offer checks on the savings account so you can't use checks to move your money back out either. The only way to move more than $2,000.00 is to wire funds. I was really hoping I could take advantage of this high yielding savings promotion, but their many restrictions are such that if I want to access my funds I have to pay for wire transfers. I was hoping to deposit a large sum ($100,000.00 +) of money into this account but clearly they don't want my business. Very unfortunate.

PNC mortgage auto payment issue began in July and took nearly five months to resolve. Resulted in $100 in NSF fee charges that should not have been applied to my account. Multiples calls to customer service and in person trip to branch did not resolve. Fifth attempt with customer service finally appears to have corrected. No reason that this simple update transaction should have been that difficult to execute. Branch personnel were not helpful and did not follow-up as requested.

The branches have all gone 'cashless' so you can't deposit or withdraw your own money at a branch, which is insane to me. The website and app (or both at the same time) are constantly not working. It's a lot of fun to not be able to manage your business checking account in any way while both are down. If you do try to withdraw money at a branch, they treat you as if you're sticking the place up. Just an overall awful experience and I've had my business account with them for over a decade. It's a pain to get everything changed over to a new account when you use a bank for business banking, but it's time - this bank is trash.Let me guess, "PNC takes our customers concerns very seriously. Im a long time loyal client of PNC that prefers familiarity to change. With that said, and having been a client for 40 plus years, it's time to get off. You can only rub your clients face in the mud so much before they bee-line out of your client base.Your online service has been down for nearly a week now. No expanation. When I did go into the pompton plains branch yesterday to find out why I was treated horibbly and in a condescending manner by the the branch manager.I don't suspect anyone will call to try and rectify anything. Therefore, it is with prejudice and no regret that PNC has convinced me not to trust or use their services.

This past weekend 12/03/2022 my PNC debit card was used at an ATM while i physically had my card on me. I got notification on my phone about my account balance and was horrified to see withdrawal being made at a ATM on Celestial Street in the Mt Adam's area so I drove to the address and it's a 5/3rd ATM..The beginning I wake up to notification, I call PNC.The customer service rep tells me SO many ways this could have happened someone can use a blank card and key in card infor or a duplicate card was made,or possibly a family member, then she asked me if I ever called for a one time passcode.(never heard of before) but she states it allows a debit card to be used without having the physical card..WTH. I was floored to hear of such nonsense.then I'm told it can take up to 90 days and after 10 BUSINESS days if dispute is still on going they'll look at giving me a provisional credit..I was an original customer of PROVIDENT BANK, then NATIONAL CITY and now PNC thats 30 plus years of banking under this umbrella and the rain keeps gets worst..time to switch..customer service makes you feel unwelcome and not heard.did I say I believe this is an Inside job based on the way this happened. I believe accounts are being sold to scammers and PNC needs better checks and balances and be held accountable 3× the amount that was taken if this is an inside job..15inutes after hanging up with PNC my local news shows a person placing scamers on a PNC ATM. The worst blury photo ever of this person which means the camera isn't proper for an ATM let alone a bank ATM. Gas stations have increased thier security at pay at pump whereas a alarm rings if you try to do anything abnormal to the scanner so why the hockey stick doest a BANK ATM??Inside job is what I really believe.check your balances daily unfortunately when it was National City a rep of the bank was debiting customers accounts for 5 bucks..not alot until its 10,000plus accounts and I was one she got for over 2000 in 1 yr Bye PNC
