Transaction dates were 4/8/22 and 4/13/22. I paid a total of 6400.00 for laser cataract surgery to correct cloudy vision and to reduce dependency on glasses. The dispute is that the cloudiness in vision has increased and my vision has gotten worse in many ways. My primary complaint to the surgeon was cloudiness in vision which I now know is caused by dry eye. My treatment should have been for dry eye only. As a result of the surgery my vision problems now include: extreme dry eye resulting in increased cloudiness, unexplained movement ( jitteriness) in the eyes, depth perception has changed, increased floaters, extreme sensitivity to light, diminished vision as the day progresses, eye burning, and color perception is dimmed. I wear glasses 90% of waking hours and cannot see clearly with both eyes at the same time. I can’t even get an appropriate eye glass prescription because of the many problems. I have been following up with appointments at AIO for the past year. I am prescribed OTC and prescription drops for dry eye, have had both eyes lasered, and have had tear duct plugs inserted. None of which have helped resolve the vision problems. The problems are affecting my activities of daily living negatively. I am struggling to drive, work at my job, and perform basic functions of daily. My primary complaint (cloudy vision) could have been resolved without surgery. I was mislead and misinformed by AIO.
