On 12/24/23 I was notified by Giftya that a friend had purchased me a Giftya card. I logged onto their cite and followed their instructions on where to apply the $105. I elected to apply it to my Visa card. I received confirmation on 12/24/23 that the funds had been applied to my card. I have checked every day since and as of today (1/2/24) it has still not been applied.Business Response

To immediately receive your credit, please follow the instructions below. Additional information can be found here.
Sign in to your GiftYa account.
Click on the Where's my Credit tab.
Select the merchant where you did not receive your credit.
Enter the date & amount of your purchase and the transaction type.
Once you have completed this form, GiftYa will immediately issue the credit to your linked card.Although credit is immediately issued, it may take 1-3 days for the funds to be available in your linked account, depending on your bank.
If you still have not received your credit, please respond to the last email, or contact [email protected] and we will resolve.

Giftya.com is a scam. I purchased from their website a gift card to ULTA beauty for my wife. It was an E-gift card that upon purchase was supposed to be sent to my wife via txt. This never happened. It’s 4 days later. My bank is wanting a 3rd parties opinion and that’s why I am contacting you all. Please shut this website down!!!!Business Response

On Friday you contacted us via phone support which logged support ticket number ******* We replied in 10 mins and we never had a reply back.
We have also subsequently looked at the order after this review and it appears there is 2 different numbers. You potentially entered one incorrectly and if not your gifts were sent to your recipient's.
Its a pity we could not be more support to you and we hope that this quick reply is evidence of our commitment to our customer's and dispelling the false accusations that we are a scam.
I have refunded the Orde* ****** with both gifts in full for you. The funds can take a few days to reflect.

A notification of a charge popped up on my phone for my bank account being charged for a giftya card. I have never heard of or used this company or their cards. I froze my debit card and emailed giftya support. The transaction shows pending which tells me can be stopped before they are paid. They responded a few times and then stopped after saying it would be escalated. I need to know how the giftya was purchased, of it was am app linked to debit card or bank account and what info I need to protect to keep my bank account from being depleted at Christmas time. I am curious why you are posting a complaint. GiftYa is not responsible for someone gaining access to your bank account & the service you received seems exceptional …. In the middle of the night.
I see your report yesterday at 1:43AM ET that your payment card was used without your authorization. I see we responded four (4) minutes later at 1:47AM ET and initiated investigation.

I bought an egift card from giftya.com and I know the value isn't alot but egift card is to use immediately, oh no in order to do so you have to link your zelle which costs 3.99 so leaves you with 6.01 which didn't work. Or you have to get a card in the mail now I cannot even access the card because I can't verify my phone number I get a code and it states it's incorrect this company shouldn't be operating and I'm glad it wasn't a large amount. So horrible.i guess the ten dollars is a small loss.Business Response

I paid $50 for a gift card to a relative. Upon talking to that relative they informed me the company states before recipient can receive the money they must provide their credit card number so this company can have access to their info and money!! They do not make that clear on their website (do not go into clear details re. that is the only way the recipient can get their money. They stay they are safe, we are protected. Well if the customer is protected how come so many complaints. I have very little money to through away and am now dealing with Cancer please just return my money. Companies demanding someone's Visa, stating no returns after the fact, cant even get a refund on their company card. etc just when buying a gift card is certainly not legal, honest. fair. and certainly cannot be trusted. Giving up your credit card to anyone is a gamble. What would happen next after the card number is obtained??? There is no longer any control you have on charges, except to try and fight them.. I received a text from Giftya saying that a friend of mine* ******** ****** was sending me a Giftya card (which she thought represented Barnes and Noble) for $25.00 as a birthday gift. I was unable to access the amount online, so I requested that a Visa cash card instead. I received the card but, despite making numerous attempts, I am unable to activate the card or to find anyone to help me. I would like a check that I can cash at a bank.Business Response

I tried to call you to assist you but the voiemail box was full. I subsequently left you a text message.
In review of your Gift I can see you have correctly activated your bank card. Now all you need to do is spend with the activated card at the merchant (in this case Homegoods). Once you spend (any amount up to $105 we will credit those transactions back. This is why GiftYa is great!! Your gift wont expire, you wont forget it or lose it as its attached to your own personal card.
