Do Not Use This Agency to care for your loved one! Management is Unprofessional, Unorganized and Communication is least to none. Staff not trained at all on caretaking (false advertisement)! Aide who has been with the family almost two years ( in which we had to train) informed the disabled family member, who cant talk, that his last day of work is that day. The family found out by another family member who happened to check up on the disabled person. The aide stated that he informed the company two weeks ago. No one from the company nor the aide ( who we thought had a rapport) had the decency to tell the family that he was leaving so that the family can do their due diligence to find another aide. Not only that, the company and the aides stories didnt match up either--both were lying! Then the company informed the family that they were sending a young woman the next day (who didnt know the health concerns of the disabled family member) to take care of the disabled member. Well the next day came and the NEW aide didnt show up! The family had to immediately call off work to cover this situation. Again, no contact from the company. When the family called the company they said the new aide had child care issues. Family asked why didnt the company inform us--NO ANSWER. The family asked who was going to cover for this new aide. Company had someone (so they said) but would call the family before close of business to confirm. Well, no phone call from the company! The family had to ask and call around to find someone to watch the disabled family member . The family had to inconvenience other family members for a week so that the disabled member was not left alone. People had to take time off work unexpected for this emergency that the agency could have handled better. Personal Touch need to be shut down! Unreliable and makes too many excuses for everything.
