Im writing to document a deeply disappointing experience at the Holiday Inn *********************************************** on the Southside, booked by ****************** for an audit visit.Upon arrival, my colleague and I were shocked by the condition of the property. The lobby, halls, and elevator were in disrepair. At check-in, we were told the hotel was under construction. After a long flight, I asked if water was available for purchase or complimentary and was told there was none. That evening, I had to drink tap water from a bathroom cup. After a 12-hour workday, I returned to find housekeeping hadnt comemy bed was unmade and there were no fresh towels. When I called the front desk, the staff insisted it had been cleaned. When I explained otherwise, she said, Im not housekeeping. What do you want me to do? She refused to provide a manager's name and hung up on me when I said I would file a complaint. I called back multiple times with no answer.I went downstairs to speak in person. When I asked if she hung up on me, she denied it. I tried to explain I hadnt finished speaking, but she interrupted and said to the security guard, Do I look like housekeeping? I told her I expected respectful treatment, but she falsely claimed I threatened her and said she was checking me out of the hotelat 11:00 p.m.The security guard tried to de-escalate, but she insisted I had to leave. Police arrived. I asked the officer to speak with the security guard, but he refused, stating he wasnt investigatingonly enforcing removal.I was forced to leave late at night in a city where I dont live. Thankfully, the Omni Hotel welcomed me.Whether this was racism or poor customer service, it was unacceptable. Neither I, my company, nor our partners will use the Holiday Inn brand again.

Im writing to document a deeply disappointing experience during a recent stay at the Holiday Inn *********************************************** Southside, booked by ****************** for an audit.Upon arrival, my colleague and I were shocked by the condition of the propertythe lobby, hallways, and elevator were in disrepair. The front desk informed us the hotel was under construction. After a long flight, I asked for bottled water, either complimentary or for purchase, and was told there was none. That night, I had to drink tap water from a bathroom cup. After a 12-hour workday, I returned to find my bed unmade and no towels. When I called the front desk, the staff insisted the room had been cleaned. When I said it hadnt, she replied, Im not housekeepingwhat do you want me to do? I asked for the manager, but she refused to give a name. When I said Id file a complaint, she replied, Do it then, thats fine, and hung up.I called back three timesno answer. I went downstairs. She denied hanging up and said, Do I look like housekeeping? I explained I was a paying guest who deserved respect. She accused me of threatening her (which I did not) and said I was being checked outat 11:00 p.m.The security guard tried to de-escalate and told her she was taking it too far, but she insisted, Im in chargeshe has to go. Police arrived. I asked the officer to speak with the guard who witnessed it. He refused, saying he was only enforcing the removal. I was forced to leave at 11:00 p.m. in a city where I dont live.Thankfully, the Omni Hotel accommodated me after I explained what happened. This was unacceptable. Whether racism or awful service, I was disrespected, denied hospitality, and evicted for requesting basic service.Neither I, my company, nor our partners will use the Holiday Inn brand going forward. Ill be sharing this widely so othersespecially travelers of colorknow how guests are treated here. Holiday Inn must take a hard look at this property and its staff.

Complete horror story, we made reservations to this hotel and everything was all good now when we called to confirm the told us that there would be a an additional charge to my credit card per day for parking, and I told them that the parking wasnt disclosed when we were doing the reservation and that we would like to cancel instead then the lady which in fact was very rude turns around and says, well we are not responsible for what the website puts in and you will charge a day long story short then they turned around and charged 2 days to my credit card. If you are a consumer avoid this place at all cost they are scammers and they will just hustle you for money this review will go on all social media platform. now I have to contact my credit card company to dispute this transaction They ****

Completely fraudulent the way this business operates. "After" I checked out I noticed a $53.00 charge on my credit card that was on file. I immediately called and was told to call back the next day for a manager. I did call on 11/13/22 and was sent to a managers line twice only to be disconnected. I attempted to call back 4 or 5 times after being disconnected and the phone would just ring until it said "please enter remote access code" They were seeing my number on the ** and ignoring it. I then called from a local presence number from my work phone and they answered!!!! Now the manager tells me I was charged $22.00 a day for parking. NEVER ONCE AT "CHECK IN" WAS I TOLD ABOUT PAYING FOR PARKING. When I booked the room, NEVER ONCE did it mention about paying for parking. This is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. 75% of people utilizing this hotel do not call back or complain about the additional charges, and when they do, they are given the same treatment that I have been given over the last 2 days. This is unprofessional. I will follow through with fraud charges on my Discover. No where did I sign stating that I was going to pay for parking. The way this was charged to my account after I checked out, is completely unprofessional and unacceptable.
