  My neighbor behind me was getting their lawn sprayed. It's a very windy day. When I use to spray trees, we would basically do small trees and injections on days like this. So I ask the guy " try not to spray my trees" ( I have 12 -4 ft arbs on the border). He said I'm not going to spray your f***** trees. Even if I did it won't f***** hurt them. I said I don't care. I ask why he needs to be like that and he just kept mumbling and cussing. So, I said I don't know why you have to be an a****** Just asked nicely not to spray the trees. So I said I was going to call his company. He called his manager first and lied. So I called the company and told them the truth. Not professional and not representing the company very well. If that's the type of employees you have.Shame on you.

  the owner came out at my request because of missed areas. Had a huge chip on his shoulder and said he'd had a "really long day". I asked that his business be a bit more detail oriented and he jumped right to how he refused to "fire his guy... already losing 3 more people in a few weeks". Again i explained that was never what I was asking for.. He said they "can't treat what they can't see". Again Sir, just look down ??

  For years we treated our own lawn using the Scotts system. The grass was pretty thick but we had a lot of weeds mixed in. We did not want to deal with it anymore so we decided to have a professional company take over. Perfalawn got many good reviews and was affordable so I chose them. I prepaid for the year and they sent me an email the night prior to the first treatment. They left a generic note stating what they applied. After a few weeks, the weeds were gone, but we were left with dead spots all through the yard. As they continued the treatments, the dead spots got worse. I thought that we needed to aerate and reseed, which we did in the fall using high quality grass seed. Perfalawn specifically says that you need to tell them if you are spreading grass seed because their formulation will prevent any new grass from growing. I did this, though they never provided much notice of their arrival and they never confirmed that they changed the formulation to accomodate the new seed. When spring arrived, zero grass grew and our yard looks horrible. We have bare dirt spots everywhere and an odd moss that I have never seen before growing close to the ground everywhere as well. Throughout the process, I contacted them once or twice with concerns about how terrible the lawn looked and asked for recommendations, but I did not receive any response....just the standard sheet I always got. I even told them that if it were me, I would be embarrassed to leave a sign in the yard letting others know that my company was responsible for the mess. I found them to be very impersonal, unprofessional, non responsive and their product is terrible. Do not let them touch your yard, you will regret it.
