I was told to hire a chimney sweep since the water heater couldn't be turned on, etc. I called my brother who came, lit the tank and I've had hot water since my BROTHER came. The two guys obviously didn't know what they were doing. Second, the company is giving me a $25.00 charge for a check that they claim was unable to be paid. I explained that I've had to cancel the checking account but was angrily told to send the $25.00 or else. Yes, I have $25.00 but, the company is the problem and not me. It's not my fault the company held on to the check.
.I hope I never have to deal with ineptitude from workers or an angry office worker. I don't ordinarily complain but the workers in the field and the office worker need training.

First off we did not hold the customers check, she gave the check to our tech on the 19th of the month of October and we tried to deposit the check on the 20th of October then we received the check back.  We did call the customer and ask to have her re-write the check and also add a $25.00 fee for the service charge we were charge for insufficient funds.

As far as the water heater goes we replaced the water heater however we can not legally light the water heater if it is not flueing properly, as carbon monoxide  is produced.  Her brother can light the water and take that responsibility but legally we can not.  Our company follows the guidelines of the Allegheny County Plumbing Division, the techs did know what they were doing  and were not going to install a water heater that could legally cause carbon monoxide pensioning in the home.

Once we received the call from Mr. ******* the owner of D.R. Sevacko Plumbing went out to his property to see what exactly he had been talking about.  He had stated that we chipped his sidewalk. He also stated that there was dirt left on the sidewalk as well.  The neighbor had to wait overnight and into the next day at least to the city to hook the city water line back onto his newly installed water line. Then the city backfilled the curb area after they installed the new curb stop. At the time we left the property and before we arrived to cement the neighbors sidewalk we were not the last service company on site, and when we did leave we could not hose off the sidewalk as the customer we were working for had no water. When the water authority was finished we do not know if they cleaned off the sidewalk or not, nor are we aware if they chipped any part of the sidewalk or not as they were there after we had completed the installation of the waterline up to the curb. We then cemented the sidewalk after the water authority installed the new water curb stop. We did not hear from Mr. ******* until we had sent someone onsite to cement the customers sidewalk which did take some time due to some weather related issues.

      D. R. Sevacko is a contractor for Homeserve, a home warranty company that I pay for through my electric bill. I contacted Homeserve on Sept 30, 2022 for a sewage smell in my house. D. R. Sevacko came out twice and performed the same tests each time and came to the conclusion that my line was broken at the tap-in. They left with the instructions to use any sewage with caution as it will back up in my house. They also said they will submit the estimate to Homeserve and will be back out to fix it. I have contacted Home serve and they said the estimate was approved. I have not heard from the contractor. I now had to suspend my kitchen remodel because the workers have no place to go to the bathroom and the smell is getting worse when it is cold out. Homeserve is blaming the contractor and I am sure the contractor is blaming Homeserve. I am now at a critical point with the sewage and the fact that I have no kitchen which will cause me to pay higher prices since I had to suspend.

We received a job for the interior drain line for this customers house  on 9/30/2022, however the issue is not on the interior of her property it is on the exterior which is where the repair will betaking place.  We were first on site the 1st of October and then again on the 7th of October to camera the external sewer. We then sent that footage along with the estimate over to the home warranty Homeserve for approval. That approval came from Homeserve on or around the 13th of October at which time we had COVID go through our shop and had at least 2 tech out and as of today we still have a tech out sick We are Working to get each dig done as urgently as possible, every dig in Allegheny County takes tow day to do at the least and we have had other job approved by this customers home warranty prior to her job being approved.  There are other factors involved in each did that customers do not understand as well and we are trying to get to these digs in timely fashions, but when you go through a home warranty there are delays and there are certain procedures that have to be followed  before jobs are approved. Sometimes we send jobs over and then they are all approved at the same time making a back up on the outside jobs that now are approved and need to be dug. This customer will be done by the end of the week of the 24th of October as long as everything goes as planned. We work 7 days a week and have our crews working daily to complete every job in a timley manner .
