    I ordered 1/2 sheet yellow birthday cake, Thursday February 8th for a Monday February 12th pickup. I received an 1/2 sheet almond cake. Due to nut allergies I couldn’t serve this cake. I called to speak with the owner on February 13th at 10:18am and was told she was not there, I explained my issue to the employee she advised the owner will call me back when she gets in today. I called back at 12:46pm spoke with Tricia the owner, she advised that she has been there since 5am and she had no knowledge of the incorrect order that I received and called in about. The previous employee falsely stated Tricia(owner) was not there after I explained my issue that may result as serious health issue on top of ruining my 3 year olds birthday with the wrong cake that no one could enjoy

    This letter serves as our response to the Better Business Bureau compliant ID ******** received on Tuesday February 13, 2024.
    In the compliant, the customer Ms. ****** alleges a “yellow” ½ sheet cake was ordered on 02/08/24 yet received an “almond” ½ sheet cake.
    Ms. ****** also stated that due to a nut allergy the cake she received could not be served and requested a refund.    
    In our conversation with Ms. ****** we stated that company policy is to return all unsatisfactory product in order to receive full or partial credit as is industry standard.  Ms. ****** refused stating she could not return the product because she “threw it all away.”  
    In addition, we also explained that we do not include any type of nut(s) extract in our cake batter.
    Regrettably, without a return of the product in some part, we cannot evaluate the order to determine whether any or all aspects of it were incorrect to issue a refund or store credit.
