I had many, many x-rays taken, for what, I don't know. At first, though I called him Dr. (I supposed was the dentist). He never told me what his station was (assistant or what). Then a woman walked in and started to ask me questions. (I then found out that yes, she was the dentist). No one introduced themselves to me, nor told me who they were. I told them when what my problem was (I had a broken tooth) my appointment was made for two weeks later. I was surprised that they advertised that they took same day appointments. If someone tells you that their tooth was broken, I don't think they would schedule your appointment to be so far away.I would have appreciated knowing who was treating me at the time.I still have the broken tooth. The Oral Surgeon they sent me to has the same problem...no timely addressing my problem.

************** is a great dentist but Dental works is not honest and the billing department combined with some staff cannot even give accurate insurance information. They guaranteed cleanings, procedures are covered if they are not they demand payment before you leave. Then weeks or months later the billing department sends a bill saying you owe X amount it wasn't actually covered. Then you call them and they give a story about they must've made a mistake on scheduling, what they "thought" would be covered, etc...imo it is a scam most at the dentist take the word of the staff and only do what is covered. Elective stuff is often what is billed later and the patient is led down that road by "some" staff. I have a great dental plan at work and my co-workers who go to other dentists never experience stuff like this and I never did in at the "former" dentist I go to. Then they make the mistake with scheduling and if something is covered and the patient pays for it. They have a terrible operation that is borderline incompetence or a scam. It happens to my family members that go to Dental Works Pleasant Hills as well. Stay away from Dental Works! You will be billed for stuff you could have said no thanks to but were guaranteed by the stuff it is covered.

I went to dental works 2 years ago for my braces. I had needed minimum work done. My teeth were basically straight. I was told I had to pay 7,000 for my braces. The confusion was why so much? Every time I would ask for the number to corporate or a manager they tell me they don’t have a number for them. The last time I had an appointment at the Robinson location they told me everyone else canceled their appointments and I was at 5:30 and everybody wanted to go home so I needed to reschedule. They are a scam and have the worst customer service ever. I would like to know how to get my money that was overpaid. They even take photos so you can revisit what your teeth looked like prior
