My husband purchased a gift certificate from there last year as a gift for me. I have tried to use it twice. I have booked it online and then they call me days later and say we dont have that time available but have this time. Well its poor service to call the day before the appointment and change the time. I have requested my money back and she will not refund the money and the gift certificate expires in December. So at this point it has left a very bad review as far as wanting any service rendered from them. I would just like my money refunded. I will not be patronizing her poorly run business. Then to use the excuse they are short staffed, honey all of America is short staffed.

    Business Response

I spoke with ***** this morning on the phone after seeing her message online.

On fb, she inquired about an appt and I sent her our availability. no appointment was ever changed, because there never was one booked. We did not have an opening for the time she thought she had booked anyway, so we could have quickly solved the problem. I listening to her vm of wanting a refund between patients, which came as a complete shock.  I explained to her that we had never received a confirmation of a booking by her, nor was her contact info in our database. We came to find out later today that there was a discrepancy with the fb page, a broken link to our scheduling site, that wrongly informed her that an appointment was booked when it actually was not. Unaware that there was even a booking option on our fb page, I explained that we were sorry for the confusion and misunderstanding, and were willing and ready to book her with the next available appointment right then and there, which is the only possible way of booking with a printed gift card. She was unwilling to book over the phone, which was what she had wanted all along-to receive a session using her gift card, and demanded that she be given money equivalent to her gift card, which is not possible-our policy is listed very clearly in spa and on our site, we do not refund gift cards nor does any business that I know of.. I gave her the option to book at anytime for any service over the course of the next year and i didnt understand why she was so furious and non understanding when all i was doing was trying to get her in.   Our front desk manager was off all week and we were not in office over the weekend nor when she had called yesterday. A simple social media misunderstanding that can be easily remedied by booking over phone,  which could have been done today has lead us here, typing explanations on screens. I have never had an interaction of such anger with someone trying to cut me down when all i was doing was explaining the truth, apologizing, and offering to remedy the situation. Our spa is Breathe Peace, and I send peace out to her.
