    Promised service = four (4) meetings with suitable potential partners
    Dispute description = The matchmaker (MM) was unable to provide me with four suitable matches during the contract period. The matches that I was provided were not compatible and were not properly screened by the matchmaker. I began to become aware of their short comings as time went on. Indeed, the first and only meeting with a potential partner went poorly. After which I realized that the MM’s goal was not to find me a partner, rather it was to get me four dates of any kind. I made several appeals to the MM for better choices but nothing changed. I became more selective once I realized that the MM was not correctly screening my matches. It was clear that despite the MM’s claim of knowing their clients and matching by “compatibility” they did not even understand the core values of their clientele. This became a serious point of contention and confirmed their inability to match me with someone compatible.
    The MM extended the contract period but did not recommend any addition suitable matches. After several attempts I became disillusioned and frustrated. I made it know to the MM. I appealed for additional matches. There were long periods of inactivity on my behalf. After six months of frustration, I request a refund for the “unused” portion of my membership. (That is $2,500/4 = $625 per meeting minus one meeting = $1,875). This request was ignored by the MM and she continued to send matches that did not meet even my minimum criteria. After nine months of frustration and disillusion, I again wrote the MM asking to part ways amicably, which was also refused.
    It is now over 12 months since the initial agreement. Due to these circumstances, I have wasted another precious year of my life on fruitless pursuits. I have sufficient documentation that I can supply to substantiate my claim. . I do not relish this complaint or fighting with this busine
