    This company failed to honor the return policy on their original receipt. I purchased a battery and attempted to return it within the 14 day period and was denied. The battery was installed by this company and the reason that the return was denied was because it was used. The battery was tested by the store employees and they claimed that it was in perfect condition operationally, it was only denied return because it looked messy. If this was the case, the return policy should mention these exclusions, especially when the battery would be deemed used immediately after purchase since they offer installation. I asked for contact information for the store owner and was denied, then I asked for the store associates contact information and was denied. I would like to be refunded my money for this battery.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    The company has continued to fail to address the return policy. They should adjust the terms on the receipt that is given after purchase and state that “installation of batteries deem the battery as non returnable” or inform the customer prior to purchase and installation.

    Hi, this is in regards to complaint ********.  This battery was not eligible for a refund due to the fact it was used.  I don't think that was in dispute, battery was installed by us and used for almost two weeks before they decided to try to return it.  Not 100% but think they decided to sell the car instead they claimed, they were told policy and created quite the scene.  When I say they, it was the woman and I assume husband.  The policy is on every receipt.  The applicable line for this case would be "products must be in an unused and salable condition."
