    I stayed in this hotel for work 11/17/2023. I have been scammed because there was smoking in the rooms and I can smell it. Trash was not emptied before I got there, carpets looked like there was animal pee stains on them but that is nothing! There were drug dealers in the hallway selling drugs and around midnight they were threatening to shoot each other! Imagine this in a hotel where you pay $120 per night? I was expecting a stray bullet to go through the wall to hit me or kill my fire friend. I called them for a refund next day they laughed it off! NO this is NOT acceptable!     Thank you for notifying our office of the concern filed by *********************** at the Ramada property in Whitehall, PA. 

    Our brands are committed to assuring that all of its properties provide great service and quality accommodations. This guests comments have made us aware of an instance when one of our properties did not meet a valued customers expectations. 

    We regret that the guest had to contact you and our office regarding their concerns with the property. Each property is independently owned and operated under a franchise. This means that the property's management is responsible for meeting brand standards and for day-to-day operations.

    After thorough review, we feel the best resolution will be achieved by direct communication between the property management and the guest if looking for further compensation.

    The property has already issued a 50% refund on November 20th. 

    Once again, we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

    Communicated with the business via emails they will NOT refund me my money saying I am discriminatory because I mentioned guests were selling drugs in the hallway and were threatening to shoot each other after 11 pm. Whats the point of giving franchise rights to owners like that. They need to refund me in full.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    The franchisor does not want any responsibility or have any respect to their brand name and want me to keep speaking with the thugs they allowed to be a franchisee. This is absurd. They kept my money and offered me unsafe stay late at night that my girl friend and I could have been shot. Who pays for that?

    Basically the franchisor doesnt care if the franchisees can sell drugs in the hotel and brandish guns in the hallways.
