    on 10/9 my insurance came out and they charged me a 40 dollars courtesy payment fee because something was on hold but it hadn’t come out yet and still hasn’t come out. i tried to deposit money in the atm on 10/8 but it wasn’t available so i put it in drop box knowing it would be in there before the hold came out. i feel like they stole 40 dollars from me because the hold hasn’t come out yet and the money is in there. in picture you can see there c/p (courtesy payment) charge is what made me negative i tried contacting them and explaining and they said oh well. i could see if the hold came out before the deposit when in but it didn’t and i knew it wasn’t going to till friday 10/13 and sense the insurance came out the courtesy payment should have been when the hold came out if i still didn’t have money in there

    ******************** was not only thoroughly explained to how the Courtesy Pay Fee option works, but has used it several times in the past.  He had items that were authorized and on hold from use of his debit card, but simply does not understand that those funds are NOT available for him to use.  I did indeed refund one of his two fees after explaining to him that this was a one-time courtesy.  I also explained to him that we COULD have sent the item back UNPAID (as opposed to Courtesy Pay, which pays the item with the $20 fee and gives the member 30 days to repay). This would have resulted in more fees from the other company as well.  I'm not sure why ******************** is filing a complaint, as the credit union A: paid his item, B: saved him from additional fees; C: has LOWER fees than other insitutions; and D: even generously refunded him.  When we ended our conversation yesterday, he seemed satisfied that we refunded him half- so I am unsure of his discontent today.
