    On April 9 2022 we purchased a bedroom set from Betsons and paid in full we were told that everything was in stock except a nightstand. We were told the nightstand was scheduled for arrival on May 13th. Since then I have been getting the run around. Last I spoke with Amber on 7/29 and she advised nightstand was in stock and would arrive within 4 weeks. And now I can't get anyone to answer the phone and we are out $191.00 that we paid fot the nightstand. Our order # is ****.

    I am responding to the complaint referenced above.  ****** ****** original order for bedroom furniture was placed with Betsons Furniture on 04/09/22.  We delivered the pieces that we had available on 05/07/22 with the understanding that 1 night stand would be backordered.  Due to ongoing supply chain issues that are beyond our control it did take us longer to receive this merchandise than usual.

    ****** ****** called our store on 09/02/22 to find out if the night stand was available. She was understandably unhappy that it had not been received yet and so we did offer to refund her money right then over the phone.  She refused our offer to process the refund over the phone stating that she would instead come into our showroom for her refund.  Judith did not come into the showroom for the refund and instead filed her complaint with the BBB.  Upon our receipt of this complaint we phoned ****** ****** and asked her permission to refund her credit card and processed the refund on 09/09/22.

    We are sorry that we were unable to provide the merchandise in an acceptable time frame. Having refunded the customer for the missing item we consider this matter closed.

    I am attaching a copy of the credit card slip showing that the refund has been provided to ******.
