I had Rentokil provide pest control at my home for past 5 years which I payed in full every July. there last treatment was June 3 2023. which fell in last years bill cycle. in late June I received a bill generated on June 4 2023 due July 4 2023 with a large yearly increase. I called and canceled my service which they acknowledge. since July 2023 they keep sending me bills for 229 dollars .claiming its my bill balance the invoice # is ******* . We apologize for any inconvenience. ************************ service was performed on 6/3/23 and he received his annual bill for $687.07 on 6/4 with his price increase for 2023. He called in on 6/12 asking for the price increase to be rolled back. 6/26 he called in to cancel service as he said it was too expensive. We adjusted the invoice by $458.05 since his service was already completed (Divided his annual payment by 3) He still owes the balance of $229.02. Thank you.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because the service performed on June 3 2023 was covered under 2022 yearly bill which was generated on June 5 which I paid in full end of June 2022. June 2023 bill was clearly generated on June 4 a day after June 3 I am inclosing both invoices . I cancelled service last week of June 2023 which company acknowledged due to price increase.

I hired Ehrlich to get rid of a critter (s) in my house. On June 22 an inspector came to my home. He checked the basement, attic, and walked around the outside checking the roof. He didn't see where the critter was getting in but felt Ehrlich could get rid of it. I signed the paperwork for 4 visits to set traps and poison, remove any animals caught, fill in holes where they were getting in, etc. The appointments were set for between 8-12 on the next 4 Fridays. The first appointment the tech was on time. He set traps with poison and large mouse traps around the house and in the basement and attic where the critter had been. He didn't arrive until around 2:30 for the second appointment. He put more poison in the 2 bait traps outside and moved the large mouse traps around both inside and out. The third visit he didn't come till around 4. He did the outside traps and filled in a big hole with spray foam. No animal was caught in any of the visits. When we went to the basement he saw the squirrel scurry up a pipe. He used the spray foam to fill that in. Then we went to the attic where he saw the squirrel go out a hole. He called his office to update them. I was told to clear the area so someone could come and seal the hole. I needed help to do that so didn't call them till the following week. I have called them at least once a week, every week since then (over a month). I am told someone will call me but no one does. I haven't noticed any activity in the basement. Meanwhile the squirrel continues to rip the insulation to pieces so now I will have to repair that. I was told that they can repair that, for a fee. I paid $425 plus tax when I received the bill after the first visit for all 4 visits. I really need them to make the last visit asap to seal the hole and whatever else to keep the squirrel out. They are currently working on the problem. It appears that the squirrel is gone but they want to be sure. When they feel it is gone they will fill in the hole by the roof. This should be done in a week or so.Customer Answer

I had 2 appointments but no one came or called. ****** was here on 10/10 when I wasn't home (there was no appointment). He said he looked around and there was no hole. ****, the Western Regional Manager, put a trap in front of the hole to keep the squirrel was getting back in. It was supposed to stay up for a few weeks, then removed and the hole plugged. The trap is still there so I assume the hole us too. I am an elderly lady and can not climb a ladder. The hole has to be plugged when the trap is removed. I've called Ehrlich once again and have another appointment for 10/17.

I've used Florida Pest Control for close to 5 years. I've had the same tech who messages me to verify my schedule is open (I work overnight) before he comes to service my home. Recently the company was sold and they changed the way the appointments were set. Apparently they call the day before, but I never received notification and they sent a new tech out without confirmation of my availability. I work nights and did not hear him knock as I was asleep. He sprayed my front porch and left as he could not access the backyard or inside of my home, charging me $38 for nothing. I called the office and they explain that there was a change in appointment setting due to the buy out and assured me that I would not be charged for a service I did not receive. However a few weeks later I received a past due notice. I've contacted the company 3 times to dispute with no response from management. I'm filing a complaint with BBB to resolve this bill before it goes into collections.Business Response

This company has continually called my cell phone with an automated message to call them regarding my pest service account. I have never heard of this company or had any pest control services at my house that they could be affiliated with. I have been unable to stop the constant harassment from this company. I have been paying this company monthly for their pest free service since 2019 at a monthly rate of $47.50. This includes three annual visits. Almost every one has been a no call no show on the part of Anderson, and additionally, they will not reach out ahead of "appointments" as I've requested so I can make sure to be available. Additionally, when I try to actually schedule these appointments, they don't show up. They sign my signature (in a squiggle) and send through a report of things that never happened. I have told this to them and they refunded some money and said they would fix it. They have now done it for the last two visits, one supposedly on March 23th and then one supposedly today on 7/24.Business Response

I have been billed for services that have not been performed. The account has been cancelled by the company and I am unable to login and view an invoice. I had used this company for more than 7 years with an automatic payment process to my credit card. This charge for more than $100 was not for ANY service performed at my address. To whom this may concern, I cancelled my service in December 2022. Then I get a call that they are coming out to service my house in January. I called to let them know I canceled my service. They looked it up and it wasn’t canceled. So I canceled it again. Apparently they also went ahead and sent out a service man? I called again when I got a notice for a payment? I said I canceled my service. It still was not cancelled?!!! I told them I originally cancelled in December due to financial reasons. And so they said ok it’s cancelled this time. Well, I again I get these notices that I haven’t paid and the amount keeps getting higher? I called again to see if it was canceled? It still was not canceled???? I cancelled again! I said I am not paying this bill! This is ridiculous! It’s like extortion!!! Apparently you have sent someone out to my house 3 times??? And are charging me? The last time I called, I believe it was May or June? it was finally cancelled????? I have called numerous times about this and nothing gets done? Please stop sending me bills. Take me off your mailing list. I am not paying for something I canceled and your computer systems messed up? Or your employees??? *********************** told her former pest technican to cancel her service due to financial reasons back in December of 2022. The serviceman failed to follow through on her request and therefore the service continued to be performed. I canceled my service before may 15th 2023 because I have had nothing but terrible experiences with this company. I was charged extra in November of 2022 for 4 “traps” for mice while I have a contract that covers mice and roaches/ants. I was not informed by of this extra charge. This company shows up announced while no one is home (hardly ever shows up). They’ve been to my house roughly 4/5 times. Never came monthly or called to follow up. I have a bill for May when I canceled my service before the bill. I am extremely disappointed. I’ve attempted to contact the company multiple times. And never received a call back.Business Response

I had pest control service set up at my rental property located at **** ** *******, Citrus Springs, FL. The property is being remodeled and I am the owner living in California. I had a problem with Florida Pest Control sending service people out without notifying me in advance, as after the fleas were gone I no longer needed the service while the remodel was taking place. I received online invoices from Florida Pest Control for April and May 2023 and spoke with multiple people before speaking with *** at ###-###-#### on 5/25/23 who told me the April and May charges were to be removed and no more service would be charged. I have a recorded message from *** on that date. However, apparently the parent company of Florida Pest Control is Rentokil in Wyomissing, PA. I started receiving past due bills in the mail from Rentokil and spoke to people numerous times both at Rentokil and Florida Pest Control. I got another past due notice date June 30 from Rentokil stating my payment on account no. ******* was past due and delinquent in the amount of $34.33. I have excellent credit and am furious that this issue has not been resolved. Every time I speak to someone at either company I am told "this is being taken care of" however I am not provided with the name or phone number of who is supposed to be taking care of this. I truly believe that Rentokil/Florida Pest Control have serious problems with how they automatically send service people to provide service and how they bill customers. There should have been one person who I was directed to that should have resolved this based on ***'s 5/25/23 phone message. I do not want my credit to be marred by the total lack of customer support that is not being provided by Rentokil/Florida Pest Control. Honestly I believe this could be a class action lawsuit if this is happening on a large scale. The $34.33 needs to be removed immediately from my account (which is supposed to be closed) and any delinquent credit reported needs to be rectified.Business Response

I did receive another phone call from Florida Pet Control aka Rentokill saying that they had removed the charge. I did receive one more past due statement after that phone call; I'm hoping that they fix their system so they don't continue to send past due statements to customers when there should be a $0 balance on the customer account. I have used Active Pest Control for over 20 years. I have purchased two homes and have always used them. They were always personable and willing to go the extra mile. Even as a realtor, I referred all my clients to Active Pest Control. Now I currently work as a nurse practitioner and still refer all my friends and family until now. I just happened to get a call from my daughter who states, "Mom, I think I see termites at your back door." I told her that was impossible because I have the baiting system. In January 2023, there was a mishap with something to do the direct debit. I called to rectify it and the young man on the phone told me to disregard any types of notes or letters. I have always used direct debit with this account. Someone, not me of course, decides to change my inspections from every three months to once yearly without even mentioning it to me. So I called today to try to see what was going on and I stayed on hold for approximately 28 minutes from one of the customer service reps who consistently wanted to escalate this to the administration department. I told her no I would like to hold on and then finally was transferred to the survey without speaking to anyone. Then I called back and got some other gentleman, whose voice sounds vaguely familiar, as I think this was the one who possibly changed my account without asking, who pretended he knew nothing that I was speaking of and then started to overtalk me and then started that I could not speak to management. He never tried to understand anything that was being said. I'm not sure what happened but this needs to be fixed and if I have termites, someone needs to fix that as well. My home is one of my biggest investments and I don't want someone's mistake to cost me. I will also submit this to the BBB as well as *******Business Response
