    I contacted DAI about a leak under our sink and concern about mold. The leak had been fixed by a plumber. I spoke with ********************* the project manager. He gave me an estimate for the work but told me "it could be more extensive". He had a "feeling" it was and before he did anything he predicted much more extensive work would need to be done. I explained we were on a budget and asked what would happen if we couldn't do the extra work recommneded. He said they would just do the contracted work and we would sign (which we did) a waiver holding DAI not liable for any consequences of not doing recommended work. However after tearing my sink apart, **** refuses to put it back together. He kept saying more work needed to be done (tear out all our counters, take countertops off) and we said we couldn't afford that. He then said they were not comfortable rebuilding our sink because of "an active leak". We have no evidence of the leak only his word. We now have to pay someone else to rebuild our sink. We would like a partial refund to cover this work.

We are pleased our Project manager and workers had properly completed their documentation in detail for our quick review, establishing a leak related to the window resulted to more extensive damage then initially suspected. This enabled DAI to immediately respond and deliver a refund check to you this morning. We appologize for the inconvenience this miscommunication has cause you and hope our quick resolution will allow for a positive outcome. We wish you a happy and peaceful Thanksgiving.
