CVS Caremark has kicked me off my prescribed medications every january, 4 years in a row. Each time, it severely destabilizes my condition for 4-5 months, causing significant loss of work. I've been repeatedly lied to about coverage and resolution for issues with coverage on the phone. CVS Caremark cares more about bureaucracy and profits than they do about patient outcomes. My interactions with Caremark have inspired me to purchase a Komatsu D355A and some 1/2" steel plating.

CVS Caremark is horrible and the worst at making any type of decision that is logical or doesn't follow a pathway or designed script given to each customer service person. I will add that the supervision team is worst, condescending and outright rude, the company itself is just an experiment at how not to like your customer. As we all know, many drug manufacturing companies are having problems keeping up with demand on certain drugs that some of us have been on for many years. When my doctor tried to move me to an alternative drug that was available, I was told I needed a prior authorization, well ok, i do everything I am suppose to, only to be denied because I don't fit criteria and I don't fit criteria because I have been on the other drug and am only looking for an alternative to continue with my **************, I talked to everyone there, was classified as difficult, put to a speciall team and still denied all because I was frustrated that no one could see this as an easy solution: let me have the replacement drug, but no you punish me.Same is happening now with *******, same exact thing. Caremark is incapable of evaluating each individual situation, critical thinking and compassion. I am researching further ways to file complaints, but I thought I start here. Thankfully, I was validated by my physicians as huge teaching hospitals.

cvs caermark gets an F. Difficulty getting a reliable person who knows their job. Spend hours on repeat phone calls to get questions answered and promises are not kept with the pharmacy or the customer rep service people. I recently went through a manufacturer issue on medication and was promised a replacement by the manufacturer but never go it after spending at least 3 hours of follow up on why I was not getting my replacement medication. The manufacturer said it had to go through a pharmacy to get the replacement and as cvs caremark was the mail ordering pharmacy that held the precription; that was the mode of action to be used. I am so glad that well care is changing to another mail order pharmacy for my future medications. No more cvs caremark ever again.

If you are forced to use CVS Caremark because of your insurance, as I am, youve got a serious issue. I had to switch to them on 10/1/2023, and I still cant get one very important medication filled. *** spent hours on the phone to no avail. I have turned it over to a lawyer due to the seriousness of not having this medication. Good luck!

They are the worst. Trying to get my medications has involved them telling so many lies and trying to just tell me to wait till next week. One, I am now 3 weeks without medication thanks to their hands. Two, they will then be in the next year so they can collect the ridiculous fees for the meds. Three, then it's a new year so I need to start all over again with a doctor's authorization. Again. I have spent days trying to fix this for them to throw another roadblock in the way.

I suffer from the disease of obesity and working with CVS Caremark has been a nightmare. Zepbound has now been approved and they were shipping and now state they are not. They would also like you to try other medications, that are terrible, have shortages, and are not as good. When I tried Wegovy, they attempted this as well, but finally approved a prior auth. They then shipped out wrong doses, and I could only start because I had to split doses with a syringe. Their customer service reps cannot get their stories straight, and because there are no repercussions to anyone, they do not have to change their ways. I finally had a prior auth sent out from a snooty rep who said she only had to send one every 90 days.Bottom line, they cancelled Zepbound and no on could tell me why (this was over two weeks) and now they say they are not shipping it. Who knows what reality is with Caremark. Somone is going to die from their negligence, and I suppose it will finally take that for them to take notice.
