Terrible customer service! You call them to explain a problem and they'll spend 45 minutes with you on the phone telling you it is your problem not theirs, even after they log in themselves and see the same problem you are explaining to them. Their service was shipping me a prescription that was canceled for months. When it was canceled, it disappeared from my prescription list, but they kept shipping it to me, and charging me for it. When I would get it, I'd log onto the web site, or the mobile app, and there was NO WAY to cancel it because it doesn't even show up as a prescription I even have, let alone one on auto-renewal! So you explain all of this, they check everything and tell you "Oh yea, that's funny, WE can see it is set up for auto-renew for you on our end, but we can also see that you CAN'T see it in your auto-renew list, or even in your prescription list on your end, so yeah, I guess there's no way for you to cancel it, odd". So they cancel it on their end and acknowledge something is wrong, BUT they refuse to provide a refund for any of the prescriptions they sent that they shouldn't have (at $111.00 a pop). Their justification was that they sent a renew email telling me they were shipping it, but again, if you click the link in that email, it takes you to a list of prescriptions and the one they are sending you is not listed so there is no way to cancel it. So you HAVE to call them, and listen to multiple prompts telling you all about the order you can't cancel and how you should hang up and go to the web site to manage your prescription (which we've already clearly established does not work). When you finally do get through and explain everything they simply say "sorry, you are correct, there is an issue with our system and it may have messed up, but you still have to pay in full". I sure wish there was a better option, and based on all the other negative reviews here, I'm presuming many others have very similar experiences with them.

If I could give this provider negative stars I would. Absolutely the WORST customer service and experience of any **************************** service I've used. I had them in the past at a previous job, but when I got a new job I had to return to using them. They'll put you on hold for over an hour and not be able to resolve your issues, I've been bounced back and forth between departments multiple times, and the staff don't seem to know how to resolve issues. I have nothing positive to say about this company, their complaints are so arbitrary. They don't care about patients or the time of our doctors.

Negative stars would be more appropriate. I too have had to experience CVS Caremarks failure and mistakes that they want to blame on everyone but themselves. A medication that I have been on for over 3 months requires pre-authorization every 3 months. That would be fine but I have now been without the medication for 3 weeks while they continuously give me the runaround. ******* me first for not knowing the date of the pre-authorization expiration (which I requested the refill prior to date and the pharmacy did not fill it or attempt to fill it until 4 days after the request, so yes the pre-authorization did expire), blaming the primary care for not providing information (which they did 4 times), and now saying there is a standard waiting period to review the pre-authorization unless the physician marks it urgent. Well, Caremark, Ive seen the physicians request, it IS marked urgent (each of the 4 times it was submitted). The customer service person was rude and condescending and spent 45 minutes blaming everyone else and making multiple excuses. They do NOT deserve to have CARE in their name, they clearly do not, and do not understand what the word means or how much medication helps patients. What an awful company!!!

Horrible service cvs Caremark their mail order is absolutely horrible. To reorder a prescription that I've had before took over half an hour then I canceled the whole thing cu, they said I had to speak with a pharmacist. For a drug I'm already taking I don't get it. So I got put on hold 3 times waiting for the pharmacist after the 3rd time I said just go ahead and cancel it. There are other mail order companies out there but for some reason cvs has the monopoly for mail order prescriptions. It's sad and someone needs to fix it. Their customer service representative could have cared less that I canceled my order to. To them your just another patient who needs a prescription they could care less about you it's in humane horrible company I refuse to even go to cvs stores now. I hope they go out of business. For their lack of care and compassion and lack of care about people's time!!

Horrible ************************** Cannot even produce a digital letter verifying cancelation. I would avoid at all costs until they join the 21st century.

I never know when I go To pick up my medicine what the price is. There is zero transparency! I picked up a medicine it was $32 next month it was $137 they said it was because it was a different manufacturer. I asked where can I find these prices they said you can use the estimator tool. I said that tool is wrong clearly so where do I find the contracted prices? Basically there is no where to find these supposed contracted prices that exist.

It has been over 2 months trying to deal with these idiots. My doctor ordered a prescription from CVS Specialty. My insurance company has approved the medication but CVS Caremark still refuses to ship the medication to my doctor. I have received over 43 texts and calls about needing more insurance information or just saying they didn't ship the medication. I have called and talked to many people at CVS Caremark. They have the paperwork from the insurance company. They have the approval number but they still won't ship the prescription. Everything is approved but CVS refuses to ship. Who do they think they are GOD? I will call my insurance company and see if they recommend another company I can use. CVS Caremark has the most incompetent idiots working for them. I gues they don't want the insurance companies money!

This company is absolutely and unequivocally the worst I have EVER dealt with. Due to a job change - I was forced to accept their "Coverage" for prescriptions, and that's when the trouble began. I am a diabetic, who up until this job change had glucose levels fully controlled through medication. Their plan didn't cover one of my medications, so my doctor prescribed other medications. None of them worked and I went from having an A1C of 5.9 to **** in the matter of three months. Then we switched to an injectable medication and saw results but had to increase dosage. So now, I'm on a medication that is 800% more expensive than the previous medication. However, every time I go to get it refilled, I need a prior authorization. Not only that, but another medication I'm on - now ALSO needs a prior authorization. This is utter lunacy. Health Insurance needs to be outlawed. Period. Point Blank. Full Stop. Also - forget about ever getting a solid response from anyone on the phone.

If you have a choice in insurance drug coverage, run fast and run far from CVS Caremark and choose another. These folks play games with specialty drugs, dropping coverage and manipulating it such that specialty alternatives - if they do exist - come with extremely high co-pays.Their website is only marginally helpful, and customer service leaves a lot to be desired.

Unfortunately BBB won't allow me to leave a review of zero or negative stars or I would. These folks couldn't organize a b****** in a brothel...they want to blame the prescribing physician for their own mistakes and have no empathy or compassion for patient care. Their customer service representatives act as if you are an imposition and an annoyance. Avoid these clowns at all costs!
