Transaction date: December 2, 2022 all working hours my vehicle was in their possession (8:30am to 5pm).
***Amount: I paid $925 for two vehicles but for my personal vehicle it was $600 as i had to pay to remove the old tint (rightfully) and i choose the ceramic (most expensive tint) for my vehicle.
***Commitment: Mr tint's responsibility for the service was to replace my previous worn window tint on my 2013 BMW 335is and install ceramic tint on all windows of the vehicle excluding the windshield. In the process, they damaged the rear glass by stripping the conductive material on the rear heating grid (which is also the antenna for the key fob), which impairs my vision when rear glass is frosted over causing a safety hazard and the key fob only works when really close to the vehicle.
***Resolution with business: I spoke with "tom" i believe and he claims no liability on Mr tints end. He claims they didn't use any abrasive material on the glass but its obvious they scratched it. He claims they used some "steam device" to remove the adhesive from old film/tint. I claim they damaged the glass and are 100% liable for the damage and seeking to get compensation to replace the glass ($1853.60) and have new film installed on new glass. On February 6th, 2023 i sent an email (attached) and gave them a week to respond (it's been longer) and i have not gotten a response. This is why I am involving the BBB and SC consumers affair as recommended per my attorney.

I Paid $200 for Mr. Tint to tint my front windshield on Aug 18th 2022. The installer installed the tint incorrectly leaving trash behind the film causing a bubble near the top of windshield. I was told my the girl at the front desk that if the tint was installed incorrectly they would fix it. I returned to Mr. Tint the following day to show them the mistake. When the installer saw the bubble he said he understood it was costly and to come back next week to have it fixed. I didn't give them a hard time about it and was ok to just have it fixed. When I took it back to get fixed on Monday Aug 22 2022 they refused to fix their mistake because the bubble was at the top of the windshield and not obstructing my vision of the road. I was told this over the phone. When I got to Mr. Tint to get my truck back Tom the boss met me outside and told me he would maybe help me if I didn't have an attitude. He stated that the bubble I was "********" about he didn't really see it as a problem because of its location. He told me he would fix it. No one should have to go through this to have the job done right. Common sense tells you that a poorly installed tint with bubbles will prematurely peel.. today Tuesday Aug 23 2022 Tom from Mr. Tint called me after seeing I left a negative review on google and cursed me out. When I went to pick up my truck he illegally parked my vehicle on the highway next to his business. Tom is extremely unprofessional and is practicing bad business. He should be held liable for his immature antics.
