    I went to diesel man shop on Friday December 9th to pick up my motorhome.When I got to the diesel man shop to make my payment my total payment was about $1,460 dollar. After I made my payment I went to leave and go home as I was getting in my motorhome I notice a bunch of oily dirty looking stains all through my motorhome from front to back now when I first spoke to ******************* in November he told me someone went into my motorhome with nothing on there feet and they tracked dirty spots all in my motorhome and he will take care of it. But when I picked it up that was not the case I still had tracks all over. So ***** offered to tried to clean it again but at this time that was not good enough for me being the fact it shouldve never happened and they claimed they got my motorhome carpet cleaned before and it wasnt. ***** asked me what did I think it would cost me to get my own carpet cleaned and said about $200 and ***** said no thats to much how bout I knot off $150.00 off your payment I so upset and ****** off about how Im getting treat I said ok. At this time I still have diesel man $150.00 that Im giving back to ***** and I just want my motorhome fix correctly and my carpets professionally cleaned not by them just spraying cleaner on it trying to clean and Im not When I left the diesel man shop everything was ok for a second I got on the highway headed home but I notice my motorhome jerking really bad I pulled over and call the diesel man shop and was telling the employee summer how my motorhome was jerking really bad.summer told me to bring my motorhome back in to the shop. on Monday I explained to her I dont want to take my motorhome home all the way and half to bring it back on Monday.The woman told me if I could make it back by 5:10 she will stay little.I made it back to the diesel man shop and they was looking over my motorhome and they realized it wasnt any transmission fluid in my motorho**** called diesel man shop on December 13th to check on my motorhome I spoke to a lady that I believe that was the same lady that waiting on me to get back to the shop on Monday. I ask the lady on the phone if my motorhome home was ready for me to pick she started saying yes its ready then she telling me my motorhome is still jerking I then ask her so when will it be ready for me to pick it up and she then say well ***** isnt here right now Ill have him give you a call about what he want to do about your motorho**** called diesel man on the 22nd and I spoke with I asked home about my motorhome and he said ***** has been trying to call me and I explained to him ***** has my new phone number why didnt he just call that number. He than starting saying that when I brought my motorhome back to the shop after it was jerking and they put the transmission fluids in he said they was calling me it is still jerking and they dont know why he said it could be my transmission or maybe the airline that they replaced thats causing the problem. He told me ***** was out of the office and he will give ***** my number and ***** will give me a call.Im called the diesel man shop and they wasnt open and they wont be open tell Tuesday 26th of December. I spoke to ***** at diesel man shop on 12-27-2022 and now they are trying to make me pay for something thats they did to my motorhome.Now they are saying it could be a transmission sensor and they dont even know if its the transmission itself.I received a back from from ***** and they wanted my email to send me over repair order form and I told ***** I dont think I should pay for something I didnt do and when I brought my motorhome back to them it had No transmission fluid.***** said he would call me after he speak with his mama about the situation and he never called me back yet I called to talk to ***** at diesel man shop but the person answered the phone told me ***** went out on a run and they will give ***** my message. I never received a call back. And the person I was talking to I told him I was going out of the country for 5 days so please have ***** to call me because Im leaving on Monday 1-2-2022 and I will be returning on 1-3-2022 Called diesel man again today on 1-2-2022 and I spoke to ******* again today I asked for ***** he told me to hold on and to let him go see where is at. I said ok ******* came back to the phone and told me ***** is gone on a text drive and he will call me back when he gets a chance.I then asked ******* did you give ***** my message the other day and he starts saying hey I did give him your message the other day but ***** just has been so busy and this and that. I said ok and can you give ***** message and have him give me a call please. Thank you I called diesel man shop today on 1-10-2022 I asked for ***** again today and ***** was not there again today and I spoke to summer again she told me she would give ***** my message and I asked her if heard anything about my my motorhome and she said she has not.I told her please just give ***** my message to have him to call me. She said she will but I have been leaving messages for ***** and I have not received any calls back yet. I called diesel man 1-12-2023 to speak with ***** they told me hold on ***** came back to the phone and asked for my phone number I gave it to her and she said she would have ***** give me a call I have been calling and calling ***** and Im not getting a phone call back.I called diesel man shop on 1-13-2023 to speak with ***** but I was told by ******* that ***** was not in today and he has pink eye so he wont be back tell Monday. I asked ******* has he given ***** my messages and he said yeah and he asked me has ***** not call me yet and I told him no. I asked him what was going on with my motorhome and ******* told me that diesel man will have to charge me more money to diagnose my motorhome issues. I asked ******* why is diesel man trying to charge me more money when diesel man did not put any transmission fluid back in my transmission after they serviced my motorhome changing out my fluids.I called diesel man truck center and I asked to speak with ********************* the owner of diesel man truck center. But I talked to ************************* from dispatch on 1-16-2023 at 8:00 am and I explained to her about my issues I had with my motorhome and she said that *************************** the general manager will give me a call today about my issues with my motorhome.So I received a phone call from summer over at the diesel man shop today on 1-16-2023 at about 9:01 am. She asked me when will I be coming to pick up my motorhome from the shop. I asked her if the general manager *************************** was gonna give me a call back about my motorhome and she started saying she was gonna give *************************** a call. And I told summer Im not gonna go back and forth with her I will wait tell *************************** to give me a call.I called back to the diesel man shop and I talked to *************************** at the HR department about my motorhome and she said she will have *************************** to call me back right now he is speaking with *****, ****** and ******* about the situation.So I never received a call from *************************** so at 4:08 I called back to the HR department and asked to speak with *************************** and I asked her if *************************** was available and she told me to hold on. She came back to the phone and said ******* has left the office and she tried to get ******* on his cell phone but he didnt answer but when he come back into the office she will tell home to call me So today I still never received a call back from *************************** from diesel man truck center. On 1-16-2023 I called diesel man shop today 1-18-2023 around 9:00. I spoke to someone and I didnt get her name but I asked to speak with ****** and she said she wasnt available and she would give her my message. I never received a call back so I called back at about 4:05 and spoke with ****** and she said let her try to get *************************** on the phone. She came back on the line and she said she spoke with ******* and its been a busy day and he is in the ***************** but he said he will give me a call around 8:30 in the morning is that ok and I said yes thats ok I finally received a call from *************************** from the diesel man shop at 11:48 and he asked me could I talk and I told him I was in a meeting and could I call him back in about 10 minutes. ******* told me he was stepping out of the office for a few hours and could he call me back about 1:30 2:00 and I said yes that would be fine. So now Im wait back for a call from him.I spoke to *************************** on 1-20-2022 and he told me to let him get my motorhome back over in service and he would take a look at my motorhome now I asked him 2 times who will pay for that diagnostic and he said there not into doing business for free and I told *************************** and his associates Im not paying for anything that I didnt do. When I received a call from diesel truck shop I was told that my motorhome was ready for pick up. I paid diesel man shop around $1,800 to do a job for me and that job was not done correctly. So I told *************************** again and again Im not paying for something I didnt do. So he said it again to me he would get my motorhome back to the service department and he would take a look at it to see what the problem is. He said maybe it might not be my transmission it might could be a transmission sensor or something like that.I called diesel man Truck stop on 2-7-2023 and I spoke with ******** and I left a message.I called diesel man truck stop 2-10-2023 and I tried to get in touch with *************************** and I never got an answer I called diesel man shop on 2-13-23 at about 9:00am and I left a message for *************************** with ******** i never received a phone call back today so I called back again at about 4:30 and I still never talked to ******* and I never received a phone call back from ****************************I called diesel man shop again on 2-14-2023 and every time Im transferred to *************************** extension I cant leave a message because it says the voicemail is full so I called back and left a message ******** the person who I talked to on 2-13-2023 and she said she will give him my message I talked to *************************** on 1-15-2023 and he told me that they checked my motorhome when they tried to test drive it they see how it was shifting gears and they checked the codes on my motorhome and it shows a code that the transmission shifting solenoid is bad and they will fix my motorhome and have it back to **** went pass diesel man truck stop on 221-2023 to pick up my motorhome when I got there I spoke to summer and ***** as Im telling summer I want to just get my motorhome and go ***** said well its broken down and the part is supposed to come in today I told ***** dont worry about fixing Im going to my attorney and Ill have him to contact *************************** and we can go from there and I dont like fact that I have to pay $700 something dollars for a problem that diesel man did sending me home without any transmission fluid in my motorhome.Summer starting telling me *********** you not gonna have to pay $700 ******* said he will work with you. Im still not happy with what ****** said in tell she says just let us fix the part will be in today. So I said ok I called diesel man truck stop on 2-22-2023 I spoke with ******* to see if my motorhome was ready to be picked up ******* Informed me that the part came in and that put the part in and went to test drive my motorhome and it kept going back 4t my gear from 6th gear. They are trying to get it right but they dont know whats going on with my motorhome. ******* then told me they will call ******* transmission company the manufacture of my transmission in my motorhome to get help from them to get them to help them fix the problem.I called diesel man shop on 2-24-2023 and I spoke to summer i asked to speak with *************************** she came back to the phone and stating telling me about my motorhome not shifting out of 4th gear I told summer hey ******* already told me that and I asked her again is ******* available she said oh ******* told me to tell you that I asked her again can I just speak to ******* she he said he will call you back.I asked her was my motorhome ready to be picked up today than she starting saying we its stil not shifting out of 4th gear and we think its a electrical issue and they will do some more digging to it but thats what they they think it is. I asked ****** did **** put the new transmission solenoid and she said yes but it still wont shift out of 4th gear.I asked summer ok when will ******* call me back she said he will call you back later. I went to diesel man on 2-27-2023 to pick up my motorhome when I got to the shop I told the worker summer that I was here to pick up my motorhome.the worker summer starting saying I have to sign a release form which I didnt feel comfortable signing but I was forced to sign the form because summer told me they will not release my keys if I didnt. As I was about to leave I went back in the diesel man shop and I told summer its more foot tracks in my motorhome and my airbrake indicator is still reading 0.psi Summer told me the guy I need to see is on a test drive and I needed to wait for him to come back so he can look at my motorhome. I told summer I needed to run around the corner to gas station to get some gas because my motorhome was about run out of gas and Im coming right back. I went and got gas and went back to the diesel man shop to wait for the guy to come back. When the technician came back he look at over my motorhome and he checked my transmission fluid and again it was no transmission fluid in motor home again so gain I left diesel man shop just to run right around the corner and got gas and back and it no transmission fluid Im my motorhome I sat at the diesel man shop from about 8:30 am to about 2:00pm.Once the Technician finished looking over my motorhome I ask him where is the transmission fluid going if yall are saying I have no leaks and my transmission seems to be really good he said he dont know where its going. By this time I am feed up with diesel man shop and I told them I just want my to take my motorhome and go and bring it back to them another time. The worker summer told me I had to sign a receipt that said all work was free of charge and receipt said I was declining diesel man shop to do further diagnostics and that wasnt what I was agreeing to And I didnt feel comfortable to sign it so I walked back outside to get in my motorhome to leave and the diesel man employees park their big work trucks directly behind me and directly on both sides of me and would not let me leave with my motorhome because I didnt sign the receipt. I was held against my will False imprisonment. So I had to call the police department to get my motorhome from them and police said I needed to sign the receipt to get my motorhome so I was forced to sign a receipt just to get my property back from diesel man shop.I called diesel man shop on 3-7-2023 at 9:00am I asked to speak with ********************* and they said he was no in and I left him a message I called diesel man shop back on 3-7-2023 and I spoke with ************ asked for ********************* and ******************* up on me this lady is very unprofessional she hung up on me and told me to go to take out a claim against them.

    First off, I would like to thank the BBB for allowing us to engage in a healthy discussion regarding an unfortunate misunderstanding between Diesel Man and the issuer of the complaint, *************  When ************ brought the unit in, he asked for a host of service related items including a transmission service.   We performed everything as asked.  When he was called to pick the unit up, he drove it out and called back stating that it wasn't running properly.  As he stated, when he called with the issue after leaving, our service writer kindly offered to stay over late and wait on him to return.  She did so outside the confines of our normal business hours of 8-5 to accommodate him.  

    He stated that once he got down the road and the alleged issue occurred, he called back here and proceeded to drive it back to the lot.  We did nothing to the transmission other than change the fluid like he requested usng the proper capacity guidelines for the transmission model.  No one ever informed him that there was no fluid in it as he implies.  It had codes for electrical issues which again, would not be related to us changing the fluid.  After several back & forth exchanges with him, I informed him that we would get the unit back in the shop and further diag his issue.  He was insistent that he shouldn't be charged.  I informed him that we do not perform repairs or diagnosis free of charge.  However, I did agree to get it in and get it checked out for him.  Upon further diag, we found several wires with issues inside the transmission.  We repaired those at no charge to him and that still did not fully resolve his issue.  When he came to pick it up, he refused to sign the invoice to complete the transaction even though there was no charge to him.  As for his assertion that he was falsely imprisoned, that is absurd.  We simply would not release the motorhome until the transaction was completed. No repair facility releases anything until the transaction is fully consummated. That means signing all invoices and paying all monies due, if any.  He did not want to sign it because he wanted to leave with it and declined any further repairs.  He ended up calling the FCSO.  As he became increasingly agitated and hostile, we called for a deputy as well.  Out of fear and concern for the safety of our staff, we felt it was necessary. The deputy showed up and asked him if he was declining further repair.  ************ indicated that he was.  The deputy proceeded to tell him that if that was the case, he could sign the denial and leave with the unit or not sign it and leave the unit here for further diagnosis / repair.  He signed it on his own free will and left with the motorhome.  No one, including the deputy could force anyone to sign anything.  

    While we understand his frustration with the issues associated with his 24 year old motorhome, we have done nothing wrong.  We only did what was asked of us.
